Android seller app crashing

Starting today the seller app started crashing whenever I try to click on a link/page like Etsy ads, sales and discounts, payment account, payment settings, etc.  It tries to open then immediately crashes/closes back to the previous page.  Ive tried restarting the app a dozen times, cleared the cache, restarted my phone, re-installed the app, spoke with tech support (completely useless), and nothing works.  The app is up to date, and was working fine last night.  If I cant monitor my store from my phone and it's only usable from a desktop, then this platform is useless to me.

I am having the same problem. I am trying to add listings and when it gets to the last step, the screen flickers and all of the information disappears. So frustrating. I have tried to reinstall the app too but it doesn't make a difference. There is definitely a problem.

I cant even reply or "thumbs up" your post on the android app without it crashing and losing what I just did.  I have to do everything on the desktop.  The app went from working yesterday to completely useless...without me having changed or done a single thing.  I very often am not able to use a desktop to monitor/maintain my store, so if this phone app doesnt work, then this platform is not for us.

I would not want to run a shop without the convenience of the app so I feel your pain. I have an iPhone which I realize has far fewer issues than android on Etsy but I have had some odd things happening too. When I copy a listing the last step where I hit Save the app freezes then closes. When I check, it was saved but it’s certainly different than before. Also photos are loading in a different way as you see each photo separately loading outside the square boxes. They are making changes for sure.

Same problem, before the update it was fine, after the update the Etsy Seller app does not start. Every day something new with Etsy!

This is likely an Auth0 issue.  Ive noticed that when you are in the seller dashboard of the app and click on certain links, it wants to bring you outside of the app to an external page, and Im assuming its trying to forward your login credentials which is failing.  Same is happening if I try to post in the community forums.  I notice it says "you must log in to post" or whatever, and if you click on it, it briefly goes to a verification screen before going black.  Ive noticed other posts in this forum from people saying they are experiencing the same thing.

Hey Etsy, maybe try testing your updates and not just say "Im going to try to change this 1 to a 0 and see what happens".  Also, I would recommend not ignoring your sellers, the sellers are the only reason you exist.

You could always run your shop on Etsy through the phone’s browser instead of the app. I never use the app…it falls short in so many ways…I only have it for the cha-ching notification.

I have the same problems for a week. Now, I reported the issue to. Etsy and waiting for response from technical team... Does. Anyone now what causes this crashes if youttry to click on side bar payments or who favorites your item etc...?

The "save" button for photo/video edits disappeared as well. Can't save the pictures after editing them. The "save" button was there last week, though.

Same here, have been unable to save adjusted photos for over a week. I also can't save a listing as a draft.

My problem is different, after the update on Android, the Etsy Seller App does not start, the interface with the logo remains and after a while it closes. I wrote a review in Play Store, do it too, if there are many someone will notice us. Thanks!

Same, I came on here to see if it was just me but it's not . Done all the things suggested too. Fingers crossed etsy solve it quickly .

Having the same problem, with the addition of the fact that the app is not alerting me when I have made a new sale - I have to rely on my email for that. Wasn't this the app that was meant to make selling on Etsy easier??

While some of it is working again, not everything is.  One thing that's still broken is the login for these community forums.  If I'm in the app and come to the community from there, I'm not logged in, and when I try to log in, it goes to the verification screen for a second, then crashes out back to the app.

My App is useless, it hasn't started for days, I deleted the cache, uninstalled useless Apps, freed up space, and it still doesn't work. This way you are forced to log in via PC or browser, when you have two accounts to manage it becomes chaos, especially if you receive messages that you have to respond to as soon as possible. I hope they fix it soon for everyone!

I just had the app crash on the last stage of publishing a listing.  Clicked 'publish' and the page froze then disappeared. So annoyed - wasted a good 20 mins just to loose the whole thing. So many problems with this site  - always something not working.

UPDATE 30 minutes later I went to my laptop and the listing that vanished when I tried to publish from the app was now showing in active listings....

Now not only does it not log me into the community forums when I come from the Etsy app link, and won't allow me to log in without crashing, but now when I come to the forums from the app, the menu at the top left is in German.  I'm pretty convinced that Etsy actually doesn't fix anything, they just break things and make it harder for sellers to do business.
