Again, random sales drop

How do I know if listings are shadow banned?  I have weeks of normal 8-10 sales per day and then a period of zero sales.  Even attributing the state of the world and economy does not explain this randomness in sales.   My shop is down 40% YOY for revenue and that is attributed to the economy and the miserable state of practically everything.  It does not explain the 8-10 sales a day every single day to all of a sudden no sales.  Is there a source for shadow banned words. As much money as Etsy gains in fees on my sales and from my advertising dollars, you would think they would fix the algorithm and alert us to potential triggers for AI.  After all, if I make money, they make money.

You are right, if you make money then they make money.  And you have done extremely well…I can only wish.

I agree.  We pay out thousands in fees.  Dont know why my store is being choked off but then again there are stores that pay far more than i do in fees i suppose.

Yep, the last few months have been very depressing. My shop has always been super steady, but now it seems like my shop has disappeared. Did they change something?

My sales are about 4 - 5 every couple of weeks as I sell a varied mix of items which is pretty good for me,but since June I have had only a few and can't figure out why so was interested in your wording 'Shadow banned,' I'm not familiar with this so wondering what it means and if such a thing has happened to my shop. I'm still using the older method for my listings because I want to, and haven't linked to this Square Payment method as I know nothing about it but have noticed while trying to learn it isn't working for many sellers so far. My shop photos are the now square shape and my shipping times are between 1-3 business days, I have 5 star ratings and many wonderful buyer comments but desite all this it's as if my shop has been rubbed out. I don't know how I will survive if this continues so wondered if I'm being ghosted or something.
