ACCOUNT SUSPENDED /MISCOMMUNICATION WITH ETSY TEAM WHILE SELLER ID VERIFICATION

My account was suspended on October 18, 2024, after my wife submitted her passport instead of mine, as I am the original shop owner. I believe Etsy misunderstood the situation and thought the shop had been transferred to someone who is not the actual seller. We submitted an appeal to reinstate our shop.

We then received an email from Etsy stating that shops are not transferable. To proceed with my account, I was instructed to submit the ID of the actual shop owner. I responded to Etsy's emails by sharing my passport and providing our marriage certificate, along with a copy of my wife's passport (which was initially submitted by her).

I received confirmation that my verification was successful, but when I log into my shop, it still shows a suspended status with no active listings. I have sent multiple emails to Etsy's Trust and Safety team, but I have not heard back from them in over two weeks.

This situation has made me quite anxious, and I’ve experienced many sleepless nights. Our shop is a small family business, and my wife helps with day-to-day activities, such as design, color selection, and packing. I have been running this shop for nearly ten years, with thousands of followers, hundreds of five-star reviews, and I am a star seller. We have never had any issues in the past and have always adhered to Etsy's terms and conditions. Your insights and experiences during this challenging time would be greatly appreciated.
