A close friend changed her email

Some I know well changed their email address without thinking. They cannot get to their OLD email now and when they try to log into their etsy account, etsy sends them a code to their OLD email. Useless. How can they get their email changed on Etsy??

Just a thought...  Does your friend have 2 factor authentication.  If so, she needs to use a backup code Etsy sent to get into her account.  If not, it shouldn't matter if her old email is viable.  She should still be able to use it as a sign in.  I discovered I forgot to change my email when I set up a new shop.  My old email had been dead for over 2 years and since I hadn't gotten emails from Etsy in 5 or 6 years I never noticed.

@NoFrogsAllowed She did not have that set up. That is why this is a mess. I am also waiting on Network Solutions (the email provider) since she cannot get Etsy and other Domain emails to the account. Grrr.

I got the NS email account fixed and etsy emails are finally coming in! Took them 4 days to resolve the issue. Glad that is done!

This is why I don't dare update my email address even though I'd love to switch it to a different account.  I'd be terrified I'd get locked into some Etsy maze one can never escape.
