I had a customer order from me. I finished the order in a day, and then just before I ship, he wants to cancel the Order.
So I cancel the Order and I receieved an EMail from Etsy saying it was refunded and the brakedown of the refund.
The order is STILL IN THE NEW ORDER tab of my shop. It even shows that it shows "Fully Refunded" next to the Order# / Sale Amount.
How do I get it to go to the completed Tab in my shop and out of the New tab???

Refund and cancel are two different things. Go cancel it now to make it go away.
You refunded but did not cancel
There are two options on the refund screen, Refund and Cancel. If you use the refund one it only refunds (because there are times when you only need to do a partial refund), if you use cancel, it does a full refund and cancels the order.
You can cancel the order and it should adjust your stats within a day or two so the the cancelled order doesn't affect your SS chances.
Cancelling an order automatically refunds it.
Refunding does not automatically cancel. Refunds, both partial and in full, can be given for a number of reasons, so it's not assumed they should also cancel.
You still need to cancel the order.
I had this same issue today. I clicked cancel order, it refunded the customer and I still have the order in new order. If I click cancel again it wants to refund the customer again. The only way I see to get it out of new order is to “complete” order but then it shows as it being mailed. How do I remedy this?
