Trying to get help from Etsy seems utterly hopeless. I cannot reply to two recent reviews that I should be able to reply to. It's just those two that don't give me the option. On the web browser there is no option, on the app there is the option, but it gives me an error after I try to post my reply that it can't be posted.
That is indeed strange. I Responded to some not long ago (desktop computer, Chrome).
I hate to use the clear cache, cookies, reboot suggestion. But just try if you haven't. Hope this gets resolved for you.
Could it be that the customer updated their review and it locked it in like when we reply to a review?
Not sure it could be it, just a thought..
Found out that if you delete a review response, you can't leave another one. Yet, it doesn't tell you that when you delete it, so I had no idea.
I had tried to contact the customer and she didn't reply. After several days, I left a response that stated that. Then she did respond and I tried to figure out what happened, and found out she had used my product in a way it wasn't intended for so that's why she had an issue. Resolved the issue and went to redo my response and now I can't. I'm so tired of companies that don't protect their sellers. I've been on Etsy for over 15 years with stellar reviews. I guess they'll just have to speak for themselves since i have absolutely zero recourse now.
