6 Messages Telling me to Register for VAT or my shop will be closed

I have an issue with ETSY's automatic VAT registration enforcement & the numerous messages I am getting per day threatening to close my store 

I am a small business that has turned over £77,000 last year which is close to the £85,000 threshold - however this year because of the Ukraine crisis & global supply line issues we are down by 25% hence so we do not need to register for VAT which will raise prices for our customers & ads a paperwork burden which we don't need 

Can someone explain why I'm getting these messages, why is ETSY trying to enforce something on my business which I am not legally required to do & is in NOT my business's best interest at this point? 

Why is there no possible way to contact Etsy other than a support message - there is no chat or phone number to call

Etsy works on a calendar year, I know HMRC doesn't, but that's etsy for you, it never does VAT properly
you'll keep getting the messages, until next year, when they re-calculate (hopefully they won't shut you)
