Hi Etsy, I don’t understand why when you click on a shop item it shows me as 4.9 and not 5. I have had 100% status on reviews for at least 6 months now. I know it’s not tragic but it should be 5. Please can you inform me why it shows this thank you
Many thanks for your reply and taking the time to email its very helpful to get some response, do you think my policies are compliant or have I overlooked something .
Your overall shop star rating is for the last 12 months, not 6. Only Star Seller is for 3 months.
You have 5 4 star reviews, and a 1 star review in the last 12 months, of 162 reviews.
That's 4.9.
I see 5 whole black stars and no where does it mention 4.9 average shop star rating, so...
@Splendidvintageworld - As a buyer, I see your shop's overall star rating as 5 Star. This is on your shop's main page as well as individual listings. For the star seller badge, which you have right now, Etsy is using data from April, May & this month, June. You are correct that all your reviews are 5 star. (You have some wonderful items, btw)
Maybe it's some new "Etsy math"? Random glitches also happen.
Off topic - but do be sure you have compliant shop policies in place:

Having the correct shop policies is becoming increasingly important especially if a shop should ever need to make use of Etsy's seller protections.

Many thanks I have just read the article and realised I need to update certain areas and need to update another but struggling to find the right section, I’m sure I’ll find it, thanks again, much appreciated
