Highly recommend Storenvy!

I used to use Etsy to sell plush toys and jewellery. I never sold a thing in the 6 months I was on Etsy. Plus, the commision charges etc meant that I was losing money.

My shop is customizable, I can see all my outgoing and incoming on my admin panel, I am actually making money and considering going self-employed!

I've had a Skype chat with Adam Hendle who is the guy in charge of Special Ops- he was asking ME about what its like using Storenvy as a UK user! That just shows me how much the admins care about the user's feedback! The admins are all so down to earth and we know them all by name.

Changing to Storenvy has made me hand-made business come true. I'm so happy to have made the switch, and so happy that everyone (no joke, i mean EVERYONE) on Storenvy is just so nice! We all blog about each other, congratulate each other if we do craft fares, throw a virtual party if we get a newbie on board. We are a group who all support and talk about each other. Its just amazing t be part of.

I agree PinPin Finds...their customer service is AMAZING! If there is ever a problem they are right on top of it and eager to help you out!

Got to agree, customer service is definitely one aspect where Storenvy is so far ahead of Etsy they're not even on the same field. Cost as well and customisability as well!

My main reason is the 'getting lost in the crowd' on Etsy - and Etsy tend to promote products that follow the current Etsy trends ...

Wow, I'm almost finding it hard to believe that Storenvy is real! I'm so glad I did my research and discovered it, before committing to setting up an Etsy shop that's less configurable and much more expensive.

I am using both. Etsy is my main store, but I am using Storenvy as a place for my branded clothing and art.

Views on Storenvy are a lot lower (single digits for the day) than my Etsy shop.

I've been a long time seller here, although had to take a year off for personal reasons. jumping back in was proving really hard....I just opened over on storenvy a week ago, and I'm hoping for better luck over there!

Storenvy isn't exclusively for handmade correct? Because I have Swevenly (on etsy) which is my handmade store. And I have another company/name for retail items that I did not make (New Agey items)

No, Storenvy is not exclusively for handmade. I opened a store on there but am thinking it might be a hard sell since there are items, such as locket necklaces, for $1.00 from Hong Kong!
The prices seem extremely cheap for a lot of their items, I guess it's good if you are a reseller and are not looking to make much of a profit.
My handmade items will probably not get much traffic. I will continue to put my time and effort into Etsy.

I love the fact that you can customize your storefront using HTML and CSS. I'm a web designer and this helps out a lot.
