First of all- hello! I'm Kaleigh. I run www.uejewelry.com and started my online store on Etsy in 2009, and made the switch to Storenvy in March of 2011.

I'd like to open up the first post to answer any questions about Storenvy. Questions? Concerns? If this is the first you've heard of it, take a look at www.storenvy.com.

Yes, what are the payment options there? Just Paypal? Do you guys still have shops here on Etsy as well? How are your sales on Storenvy? Better or worse than when you were on Etsy?

For now Paypal is the only payment option.
I recently set up there. No sales yet, but views and a community to interact with.
And yes, it's totally free!
I don't have any plans to leave Etsy yet. I've been here almost 4 years, and have expanded to other venues for the sake of exposure. I get the most sales here.

Paypal for payment. I have made the switch completely to Storenvy and am not seeing much of a decrease in sales- I made sure the following I had knew where to find me and have met many new, wonderful people!

A lot of users have both Etsy and Storenvy accounts. What Storenvy best lets you do is really establish yourself as a individual brand. You can completely customize the way your store looks from top to bottom really allowing you to create a unique and branded shopping experience.

Right now there is not a feedback system on Storenvy.

Storenvy doesn't limit your links at all. Feel free to post links to anything that will benefit you.

Adam how do you post a picture on Storenvy like in the forums. I haven't been able to figure that one out.

All you need to do is paste the URL to the picture and it will automatically show up in your post.

I was interested if there was a video game market on Storeenvy. I sell mostly video game inspired items, and I was curious if anyone had luck with those type of items on store envy.

Hi.. How is Storenvy with regards to SEO? Are people able to find you easily by searching on Google or other searches?

Storenvy is awesome for SEO. Stores rank extremely high in Google searches. I would recommend finding a few stores you are familiar with on Storenvy and then google for them and some keywords and see what you get.

Do you submit to google shopping?

Not exactly clear on what you mean there.

Etsy, for example, submits people's items to Google Shopping, which is a product search that people use to find specific things. Etsy calls it "syndication"

It involves submitting items in a csv? format to google.

Hey Kaleigh - Do you have PayPal set up so your customers can pay with their credit card rather than setting up a PayPal account? How much is that a month?

Hey Liz,

You can accept payments from customers without PayPal accounts if you have either a business or premier PayPal account.

I just recently set up a shop on Storenvy. Haven't gotten any sales yet but what I have found is that the same item ranks much higher coming from Storenvy than from etsy in the google search. I have also added the store app to my facebook page hoping that sales generated from facebook will go directly to Storenvy rather than etsy and hence reduce my fees to just what paypal charges. We'll see how it works out. I plan to also embed Storenvy into my website. -As soon as I learn how!
