Hello Team. I just want to remind you that donating in the name of others is a really great option for any holiday. There are so many different types of gifts you can choose from in the gift catalogue, it's easy to find something meaningful. I don't know about you, but I have several people in my life that are quite hard to shop for when it comes to gift giving holidays, for one reason or another. I have a set of elderly grandparents that really don't need or want much any longer, and I donated money for a set of ducks in their name and they thought that was a really thoughtful gift they appreciated. It's a great way to remember someone and help somebody else. I will be donating to buy a bicycle for a girl out of the gift catalog for the man in my life that is obsessed with cycling. I know he'll appreciate that someone somewhere else in the world will be riding around a bike in his name. How cool is that? Also, for my mom's birthday this year, I know she really likes to have different style necklaces with crosses on them that she can wear to church and other occasions. There is a pretty cross necklace in the handcrafted gifts section of the catalogue. With those, you receive the actual item as well as support the artists that created them - so you can give a gift to your loved one and let them know their present helped someone in need. When you checkout, there is an option to get cards with the things you have donated. So, you can choose to send cards to your recipient or have them mailed to you so you can give them yourself. The cards have pictures and a description detailing what has been donated in their honor. Just something to remember as you are shopping for others this year.
