A couple of years ago I made three modifications to my Diamond Pacific Pixie that might be useful to others.
Because it's a relatively lightweight machine, I noticed that there was some very slight vibration in the unit. All machines have some level of vibration but the heavier ones, like the Genie I used to have, are heavy enough that it's not noticeable assuming that the wheels are balanced as a set.
There were two problems. When I am cutting I am almost always so focused and "in the zone" that I am not really aware of anything but the stone and the wheel I'm using. I found that the brass "geyser" would sometimes walk out from under the wheel. And sometimes even the tray would move very gradually - or did I bump it?
The first mod was a sliding clamp with the geyser permanently attached to a brass rod. The clamp firmly attaches to the edge of the tray and makes it easy to center the geyser under the wheel. The second mod was the addition of two side braces to prevent the tray from moving. You can see the mods here:

Not paying attention again, I once allowed the plastic tubing to get caught up in one of the metal wheels. It wasn't pretty. Rather than buy similar tubing, I found some silicone fuel line for model aircraft at a local hobby shop. It's wonderful stuff: very flexible but heavy enough that it pretty much lies down and never seems to get near the wheels.
