Share with us the things your creating at the moment, are you sewing already for Halloween & the upcoming Holidays? We are having a fashion shoot in 2 weeks so you can image what is going on in our lives sewing everyday and night getting ready; these can be the most stressful yet exciting moments! Glad to share them with my 13 mo old daughter Olivia!

I have a purse that has gotten a lot of attention around town lately. The local orders have been pouring in for Christmas gifts. So I'm trying to stay on top of that. I also have a local craft show in December I'm trying to build inventory for.

Sounds fun Erica, getting compliments is sure fun bet your lovin it on the purse creation. Ive done a few craft fairs sometimes they are super busy with a lot of sales and then sometimes they are slow. Its really a guess, building up inventory is a good things give people an idea of what you have. And then later if they want they can order online.

Be sure to take gift bags for purchases, business cards & flyers. I tend to forget an item, but im getting better.

Thanks for the advice. I've done 2 shows so far. The 1st one I didn't have high hopes for and I did really well. The 2nd one I was more prepared and was expecting good things and it flopped. The one in December is here in town and I'm not sure what to expect. I'm hoping those people that compliment my stuff with buy something.

Hi, I'm new to etsy, this is my very first post! I have been sewing since I was 6 (29 now), I'm addicted to fabric and yarn. I most enjoy cutting piecing quilts. I have a crib quilt in the frames, one waiting to go in and two more cut waiting to be sewn up! Who knows what I will get into next, will have to put the machines away soon for the holidays though!

I am currently working on 18" doll clothing. Getting a supply together. I have just decided on a shop name & will be working on getting an Etsy shop up & running. Finally decided to dive in and pursue what I love! For several years, I have only sewn on the side for Christmas. Excited and nervous all at the same time.
