I just retired from my full time job with the government. So nice to not report to someone else to work every day after working for someone else for 28 years. I have enough fabric to open a fabric store, but I intentionally bought lots while it was on sale and I had the day job income. I was investing in my sewing business. I have sewn for over 50 years and sew every single day. Just finished making 11 of my new adjustable baby bib designs that fits 3 months to 3 years. I also am working on a custom order for my most popular quilt panel elephant blanket with minky trim. Should have that completed by tomorrow even though the order is not due for another 2 weeks. So nice to complete an order early. I have many more different panels that I am quilting and adding the minky trim. Hope to have some completed this week. Also working on a new apron pattern to try out, making a fleece jacket for women with minky trimmed sleeves and collar. Can't wait to start that project. I am busy everyday and everything in my shop is sewn by me. The crochet and knitted items are made by my 78 year young mom and one of my younger sisters. Love my business and hope it grows. I have a large outdoor craft show to get ready for in mid October. Wish me luck!
