I have been super busy dealing with number crunching. Both 2016 and 2017 tax returns in now. One refund expected in two days and the other on my birthday (Monday).

Working on budgets. We have tax free savings accounts here but of course there is a max. I have that account at a different bank that gives me a better interest rate. I had set up an automatic savings plan on it so money came out of my regular bank account every month. Decided to just put the max contribution into it instead (since I have a little extra money right now). So cancelled the automatic plan. This way I get more interest and non taxable interest for the rest of the year. :)
Money is tight from my pension with house taxes due and dance fees for my granddaughter this month. So that was another budget to work on.... sigh. I hate going into my savings - that is for trips, and other expensive things....

Still not making any jewellery. I am back to sewing and knitting a little. Made a bag that I sent to my sister for her birthday (It is today)- I will post that photo on Instagram later today.

My granddaughter has been quite sick since Friday evening with a 103+ fever - they think it is an Urinary Tract infection. Poor little thing just sleeps and sleeps and is hardly eating or drinking. She is dehydrated and the doctor told her she must drink or it will be an IV to get hydrated instead. :(

Yesterday we actually managed to get a bottle of Gaterade, a container of apple/strawberry puree, and a little jello into her .....

She is a little better today - awake and actually giving her mum a little "sass" hopefully another day on the antibiotics will do the trick. TG the province now pays for children's prescriptions as the medication was $100!

She missed dance classes on Saturday. The ballet class is working on their recital so I hope she is well enough to go this week. I doubt she will manage to get back to school before Friday when she has a class trip to the Museum ... She will be disappointed not to go even though she goes often (they have a Membership) after all going on the school bus with all your friends is much more fun!

Next week is March Break so am planning on doing a few things with both of the grandkids then. :)

Morning!! Turning the clocks forward make me feel like Spring is actually just out of reach...ahhhh.
Been busy, with my Piggies in Stymie and trying to get new things ready for Rock & Roll..new jewelry and now a Coloring Book!! Ive been trying to do this forever...so excited. Being able to offer the art as a download makes it easier for the customer and me..no shipping!!
Working on Taxes, and find myself in these moments of reflection about how hard we all work for such a minimal return.....BUT, I love it so I guess I'm stuck.LOL!!

I had to renew all the listings in my other Etsy shop! Only 26 there and I had over 30 free listings to use so that helps.

It's a busy week here. I finished my granddaughter's sweater yesterday morning and went to see Sleeping Beauty (ballet) in the afternoon.

Going over to pick up the grandkids shortly.

Out to lunch on Monday for my birthday. Hopefully to the movies on Tuesdays. Dentist appointment on Wednesday morning and a Bead Meeting/Class in the evening. Thursday is my afternoon to go beading but this week I am taking my granddaughter with me since it is March Break. No plans yet for Friday. Saturday I take my granddaughter to see the National Ballet do a class on stage. Then it's out for lunch and maybe to the Gem Expo..... If I don't go then I may go Friday or Sunday.
