Question on crystal use in children's items?

Hi! So, I'm newer to the whole children's jewelry thing and didn't know what the rule was. Could someone please explain? I made my daughter a medical bracelet for her peanut allergy and used swarvoski crystal on it. Should I be concerned? She is 3, but is very cautious with her jewelry and never sleeps with it on. It is so people know not to give her peanuts. If crystal is not the way to go I will have to redo it with another bead. Thanks!

swarovski crystal has lead in it which is not considered safe for children and non CPSIA compliant

you definitely can't sell the jewelry, but it's up to you rather or not you would use it for your own child. I don't mind my 5 year old wearing the leaded crystals b/c she doesn't mouth anything. If your daughter is prone to suck on the bracelet or anything, it might be a wise move to change the bead. I tend to err on the side of caution on these things though.
