Fillet tape

I'm wondering if anybody knows anything about fillet tape? I am considering adding some clips (CPSIA compliant) to my shop and want to use something a little stronger than regular old glue to line the clips. Fillet tape seems to be the thing to use. I can't find any safety information on it whatsoever. There are a few sellers that sell it on etsy, but no information on safety, which brings me to the fact that it's an adhesive and could possibly be considered part of the substrate (much like heat bond is in appliqués and other uses) since it is not meant to be accessed by the consumer. I'm just not sure.

Re: Fillet tape

Just looked at the listings. Had never heard of it before. But, if used correctly, should be inaccessible just as hear and bond or hot glue and the like. Seems like a great idea.

That's my thought too. Thank you! I am just used to sewing everything down and the thought of using glue only, even just for the ribbon, makes me a little nervous.
