given the post etsy admin put out "advising" sellers not to do a collective shop like we are working on, what do you all think is the best route to take with this?
Ok, here's the big post about the shop, on the Handmade With Purpose blog. Please promote it to as many people as you can so they'll understand the importance of getting donations moving again, and helping to promote the shop.
I created a thread in the Ideas forum, which was closed (yet still public, I believe) by Etsy Admin. They said it wasn't the right place to promote the shop.
I was suggested to turn to the creation of a team to spread the word. Frustrating!
It's really helpful to know where the traffic is coming from Cindy. Great treasury. I keep dropping hints and links to the shop in my team thread but nobody gives any feedback and seems to be ignoring it. I'll keep trying though.
Cindy, I don't know much about SEO. Are there any simple tips you can share that will help? For example, should I add certain text to my blog posts or Facebook/Twitter statuses?

I'm also hoping to get some help from those with expertise about tax-related information and following the rules on your selling site (Etsy for us). I know where to go for the Etsy info, my issue is finding time to do the research. Any help that can be provided will be very, very appreciated. :)
