Hi, Christie -- I saw the link in my digest and went to see the ideas, but I hate the continuous photo option so many of the sites use... I didn't want to pursue it... Can you describe some of the ones you thought were the best?
I did happen to see a really great idea at the top of the page when I went there... a homemade "lunchable" container !!! How ingenious to think of that. The glass bottom would be a hazard for kids, but what a great idea!
Someone took a canning jar and made it the bottom of the lunchable container. Then you would put the metal lid on. Then you would put your crackers (or whatever) on top of the metal lid. Then you would take a plastic container, like the ones from the individual fruit servings for lunches, and turn it upside down over the crackers! When you put the canning ring on, it all seals together!!
Such a great idea for so many uses !!! Use clean everything and it can become your packaging for a food item -- with "sprinkles" or something hidden in the top section.
The jar was small, like the squarish one that is the wide mouth version of the 4 ounce jar.
I hope you share some of the ideas you thought were fantastic in the GH magazine.
