TIP: Import your Etsy store to Facebook

With over 1 billion users, Facebook is a great potential source of traffic. Make sure that your store is available on your Facebook business page for your Facebook fans.

OrangeTwig is a free app for Etsians to import their Etsy store to their Facebook business page. All you need to get started is:
- An Etsy store
- A Facebook business page
(Note: Facebook does not allow business apps like OrangeTwig to be applied on a personal Facebook profile. See how to create a business page: http://orangetwig.com/blog/how-to-create-a-facebook-business-page?ref=s)

Setting up your OrangeTwig store is simple. Just follow these steps:
1. Go to OrangeTwig.com
2. Click on the orange ’Get Started’ button on the top right corner of the page
3. Sign in to Facebook with your personal account
4. Facebook will ask you to ‘Choose Facebook Page’
5. Select the business page of the Etsy shop you would like to install
6. You will now be asked to login with your Etsy account
7. Login to the Etsy shop you want to import
8. Click on the ‘Allow Access’ button

Congratulations, you now have a brand new store on Facebook!

Hello - Just a quick question about Orange Twig. I have successfully got it on my Facebook page - and it's great. I've since changed some photos in my Etsy shop, as they were a little out of focus etc - but the old pictures are still showing on Orange Twig on Facebook. Does it take a while for them to change? - or will they only recognise the original pictures. Thank you. k.

@ Kirsty - Your OrangeTwig store is automatically resynced with your Etsy shop every 24 hours. If you would like your changes to be reflected immediately, you can use the manual ‘resync’ button as you figured out :)

Actually I have 2 Etsy shop pages, one which shows my personal page avatar and the other one (which I created using another app (not OrangeTwig) which contains my business avatar. I have people liking both pages. Is there anyway to combine the likes or deactivate one? I just wish I could combine into one page (business page). Anyone have any ideas?

@Anita - there is no way to combine the 2 pages, but you could delete one of the pages. Note - once you have deleted a page, you cannot get it back.

Are they both business pages or is one a personal profile? Most people have a personal profile for themselves and a business page for their store. (you can learn about the difference between them here: http://orangetwig.com/blog/9-reasons-to-have-a-facebook-business-page?ref=s).
