TeamSocial Retweet Test Update

Hi Team,

Following is info and instructions for everyone participating in the testing of the TeamSocial retweeting App. 22 members signed up to test however including members already signed up for the app we are a total of 33.

For the Test we will need to do the following:

1. SCHEDULE OUR RECURRING #ETSYMNTT TWEETS - 5 PER DAY
Let each set up 6 tweets w/ our hashtag. If you need a way to AUTO-TWEET sign up for http://etsysocial.com/. If you have a subscription that expired let me know and I will renew it.

6 x 33 = 198 retweets each per day
in our twitter account, i'm thinking that will look like each of us posting 8 team retweets per hour

2. SIGN UP FOR TEAMSOCIAL - http://teamsocial.me/
Log into your twitter account that you use for the Team. Then follow the http://teamsocial.me/ link. Their system will recognize you as being part of our Team. Let me know if you have any problems getting set up.

3. TEAMSOCIAL 1 WEEK FREE TRIAL
Once we are all signed up that the TeamSocial site I will be in communication with Danial, the developer to establish that we all have a 1 week free trial active.

4. IF YOU ARE ON OTHER TEAMS
If you are already signed up with the app and retweeting with another, you will not be able to retweet with the team using TeamSocial :( The app is currently not set up to allow for multiple teams...not yet.

The test has started Wed night. I am encountering the same error today. I was able to login yesterday.

I participated in an earlier group test and was supposed to be reset so I can participate in this one. As of this morning my TeamSocial account has not been reset so I am not getting retweeted.

Hey folks, I don't see retweets either BUT what concerns me more is that we are only signed up for 6 days with teamsocial. Since there is potential for this app / developer to make a huge amount of money from this team (there are many of us here, not just the test group) he should give us a month to evaluate. It would take that to see the hours and days tweets are leading to sales and/or views. A week is nothing. Just a thought and makes me a bit suspect to be honest.

I have been looking into IFTTT which could work for all of us if we could get this FREE app to retweet hashtags etc. I am a bit computer illiterate when it comes to code but anyone who is savvy might come up with something and is worth checking out. I am sure Clarissa could figure this out :D

Anyway, I am monitoring tweets and hope this works for us. Also, I have noticed over the past year many using #etsymntt that are not even on etsy (not original sellers here) maybe we should consider a newer update tag? #mntt17?

I don't know, I am shocked at the screetching halt my shop has taken in the past few months, but the past two weeks it is just dead. Maybe its just me? Not sure. Anyway, I am here watching as well and am still doing manual retweets as well. Wishing everyone lots of views and sales!

I heard from Daniel from TeamSocial about the list with our name. He is working on set up the free trials but need me to follow up with him and also a number of members on the list have not signed up:

Unfortunately his site is still have technical difficulties as I am not able to sign in to see when members are not active so that I can convo them.

I will keep you all posted we will have our test going in full shortly I'm sure!

Swirly, I'm thinking after our initial small test we will see how we wish to proceed wit TeamSocial. If we choose to take it team wide we will definitely need more than a week!!! lol it's taken 2 weeks to get 20 of us set up! And that's just how it goes! lol

My shop is "dead" also. You are definitely not the only one. Some days this past week or so my visits were ZERO! Yesterday I had 6 ... today, 5. I guess I should at least be happy for those visits ... certainly better than ZERO!

I am very happy that the "test" is up and running! I do have a question concerning the retweets. I have noticed that I'm not getting any more than 9 retweets per tweet (and that is the max) A good portion of the teams tweets are getting 30+ (a few are getting 50+) retweets. Does anyone know why this could be happening?

Hi Erica! The test is running but not fully. Still getting members signed up on TeamSocial and on the free trial. Once we are in full swing I'll start to see what's what. But one thing could be that many team members have additional source of retweets.

@Bonnie, I hope it is just the change in command ... @clarissa, I see my tweets being tweeted 26 times PER DAY ... NOT per hour and I believe this is from your site etsy social com ... my test period is up today, Sunday, and if it is working for others, it is NOT for me and I would need to disconnect my etsyfu app on twitter ... Yes at ETSYMNTT BEING RANDOMLY USED BY SEVERAL MANY WAY MORE than the team members and has been for a very long time. I believe strongly that a new team hashtag for ONLY active members needs to be used to USE THIS TEST so it can be specifically monitored AND in general. I can not get into teamsocial.me right now is there a link that works?

Re: expired/expiring TeamSocial subscriptions -

I just wrote to the developer requesting that we all be set up with a new full 7 days so that we are not expiring at different times.

Re #etsymntt - too late to test with a different tag but after the test, moving forward we will access the things!

It looks like my things are not being RT, but I am RT other people's things. Any idea why this might be happening? I saw some talk about it earlier on, but it looks like that had to do with expired trial periods. It does not appear that my trial period is expired.

My Subscription EXPIRED and honestly I do not feel this gave me enough time to see if it worked. I noticed more views but NOTHING inasfaras navigation thru my shop from twitter. The uptick in views was from 9 on a listing to 26 ... again I am unsure if this app is why and if it is worth paying for as I have not seen a ton of views increase which, if this worked I should have had 25 x each member in the test this is far more than 26 views on an item in 1 day. my understanding is it should have been 26 views per hour per item shown since there are 25 in the test ... am I not understanding correctly and has anyone else noticed a giant (above 100 views per one item that was posted?) Clarissa, what are your thoughts. I am viewing this both thru twitter, tweet deck and etsy stats and all show the same. Curious what others have experienced and I revoked access to teamsocial as I am no longer being retweeted. I feel strongly, this should go a month to truly assess this accurately. Please chime in, I am curious as to what other's have seen?

Not happy at all. My paid subscription has expired and I'm only retweeting but not being tweeted. I asked David to suspend my paid subscription during the trial but he didn't. My views increased a bit but no listing clicks.

Adele Alcee ~ This was my concern, this test needs to be free for a minimum of a month considering the amount of money he would be making should even half of us sign up. This is not a good sign that you had paid and he didn't do as requested. I know there is a way to retweet automatically without paying ... it is a matter of devoting some time to figure it out, which I have been doing. IFTTT (if this then that) is an option with some tweaking and totally free. It allows one to retweet a specific follower which I think would work if we broke the team down into lists similar to rounteam ... I will have more on this once I test it ...
