TeamSocial Retweet Test Update

Hi Team,

Following is info and instructions for everyone participating in the testing of the TeamSocial retweeting App. 22 members signed up to test however including members already signed up for the app we are a total of 33.

For the Test we will need to do the following:

1. SCHEDULE OUR RECURRING #ETSYMNTT TWEETS - 5 PER DAY
Let each set up 6 tweets w/ our hashtag. If you need a way to AUTO-TWEET sign up for http://etsysocial.com/. If you have a subscription that expired let me know and I will renew it.

6 x 33 = 198 retweets each per day
in our twitter account, i'm thinking that will look like each of us posting 8 team retweets per hour

2. SIGN UP FOR TEAMSOCIAL - http://teamsocial.me/
Log into your twitter account that you use for the Team. Then follow the http://teamsocial.me/ link. Their system will recognize you as being part of our Team. Let me know if you have any problems getting set up.

3. TEAMSOCIAL 1 WEEK FREE TRIAL
Once we are all signed up that the TeamSocial site I will be in communication with Danial, the developer to establish that we all have a 1 week free trial active.

4. IF YOU ARE ON OTHER TEAMS
If you are already signed up with the app and retweeting with another, you will not be able to retweet with the team using TeamSocial :( The app is currently not set up to allow for multiple teams...not yet.

Just one character difference makes the tweet different. Even changing the order of words or adding a number a the end will make it different enough.

I have family visiting from out-of-town, so not paying much attention to testing right at the moment. However, just checked on TweetDeck and see that a tweet of mine done 5 hours ago was retweeted 16 times 4 hours ago. This is an improvement. For some reason, this does not happen on each and every tweet, but rather on some occasional tweets. Maybe things are improving.

HURRAH, HOORAY!!!! Thank you, Clarissa! I just now went and checked myself. Yes, some of my tweets are getting 16 to 18 retweets, and each time this happens, it lists the retweets all in succession ... one right after another. Then there will be a group of two or three retweets of one item or another ... and then another whole string of one retweeted item, 13 retweets or even the occasional 16 to 18 ... then an item retweeted two or three times. It's interesting that not every one of my tweets gets retweeted over 10 times, sometimes only two or three times ... but you are right Clarissa ... it's a HUGE improvement, and I'm so grateful! I'm wondering why some retweets are only a couple, and then others are a huge amount. HOWEVER, I'm not complaining! I'm THRILLED with the improvement!!!! Many, many thanks. I'm just curious about the mechanics of it ... why are some 2 or 3 retweets, and others 18? Interesting, huh!

Hi Bonnie! Yes! It's great...I'm super excited!

Re the varying numbers..that is actually a very good sign...that is the app working as expected. This is because we don't want every tweet to get retweeted by everyone. That was the dilemma we were facing with the other app we tested, TeamSocial.

For us, it's about the overall number of retweets in a 24 hour period. We should each get around 240 retweets. So because of all the variables in play you'll get 5 retweets, then 15, then 10 and once more team members are on board you'll also see numbers like 20, then 30 and so on.

but at the end of the 24 hour period, if you were to add them up, the total should be around 240 retweets. That's what were looking for.

This new retweeting test is definitely working. I've definitely seen the number of retweets go up.
Hopefully once the rollout has begun, we will see numbers and sales go up.

Oh! Now I understand, Clarissa. OK! Well that's GOOD then!!! :) Just checked on TweetDeck - my "Path in the Woods" tweeted 24m ago and just got retweeted 16 times 6m ago. Nice! My "Moon Fairy" key chain tweeted 4h ago, and was retweeded 15 times 4h ago. Impressive, to say the least! This is GREAT!!!
