TeamSocial Retweet Test Update

Hi Team,

Following is info and instructions for everyone participating in the testing of the TeamSocial retweeting App. 22 members signed up to test however including members already signed up for the app we are a total of 33.

For the Test we will need to do the following:

1. SCHEDULE OUR RECURRING #ETSYMNTT TWEETS - 5 PER DAY
Let each set up 6 tweets w/ our hashtag. If you need a way to AUTO-TWEET sign up for http://etsysocial.com/. If you have a subscription that expired let me know and I will renew it.

6 x 33 = 198 retweets each per day
in our twitter account, i'm thinking that will look like each of us posting 8 team retweets per hour

2. SIGN UP FOR TEAMSOCIAL - http://teamsocial.me/
Log into your twitter account that you use for the Team. Then follow the http://teamsocial.me/ link. Their system will recognize you as being part of our Team. Let me know if you have any problems getting set up.

3. TEAMSOCIAL 1 WEEK FREE TRIAL
Once we are all signed up that the TeamSocial site I will be in communication with Danial, the developer to establish that we all have a 1 week free trial active.

4. IF YOU ARE ON OTHER TEAMS
If you are already signed up with the app and retweeting with another, you will not be able to retweet with the team using TeamSocial :( The app is currently not set up to allow for multiple teams...not yet.

I don't have an Etsy Social subscription and to the best of my knowledge I have not been exiled from the team.

How do I set my etsysocial to auto-tweet only five times a day? It just says you should say how many minutes past the hour you want it to tweet?

Hi Emma - EtsySocial will tweet once per hour - for the test you will just need to have #etsymntt included in 5 of your tweets to be posted.

You can have tweet beyond the five that do not have the #etsymntt but just keep in mind that MORE THAN 24 tweets will mean that not all will post in the day since it's just 1 tweet per hour. So you want to keep that number 24 or less so that you know your #etsymntt tweet get posted.

Hi Team!

A quick update. I've been keeping a tally of who's ready, who's getting ready and I've reached out to some members that I haven't heard from.

I believe by end of day we will have enough members ready so that tonight I can contact TeamSocial with our names to have our free trials activated/extended.

If anyone needs help getting set up, just let me know! Please note however I will be in a class from 7:15-10:15 and will not be able to respond during that time but will as soon as I can!

I've already noticed a great increase in retweets for my five tweet messages as well as random tweets I've done manually. Thank you. Just a thought... with the new stats I am able to see exactly which social media generate visits to my shop and I have noticed far more coming from Pinterest than Twitter. Has anyone else noticed this? I know that you have set up a couple of Team Pinterest boards Clarissa but can't remember if we're meant to add the hashtag to our pinned items?

Jan, I find Etsy's source for visits/views suspect. It rarely credits Twitter for being the source, yet the visits appear after I promote that item on Twitter. The source often shows up as direct when in fact it is Twitter.

Hello, I haven't been able to log into team social for 2 days now. It says that the request has timed out because the server has stopped responding. Is this happened to any one else? Has the test started?
