partial refund

Hi guys

I need a bit of help, How do i give a partial refund on shipping, my customers pay via paypal, am I right in thinking that I should refund via there ( i have been doing so far) just wondered if there was some way to show the refund through etsy.

Use "Your Shop" tab on the top to find Finances/Payment Account, locate the order and you will notice there is a "refund" link, it will lead you to refund or partial refund. It has a drop down menu for you to refund for shipping only!

Thanks for that info, but i have tried following and the options in the finance bit are all related to me. nothing related to orders or refunds...(scratches head)

Try refunding via PayPal. Good luck!!

You would refund via paypal. Click on the transaction in paypal and you would see the "issue refund" option. Enter the amount you would like to refund and that is.

You have to refund through paypal unless you choose Etsy's new option of integrating paypal with your shop account.
