Views tanking with search ads?

Not sure how this is, but my views have completely tanked yesterday and today since search ads started. Are all the hours I put into refining my listings for relevancy now completely wasted?

Same here... only 20 views for the enitre day! Maybe there's a trick to the tags. I'm just going to keep researching....

I don't get it! My chai soap is the first one listed when searched for "goat milk soap", and I have several more on the second page. So not sure what I'm still doing wrong. Arggghh- I think I just needed to vent a little. I guess part of selling anything is this age is being flexible and continuing to learn.

I think funky things seem to happen whenever etsy rolls out something new.
In the mean time, i'll just keep adding to my shop and working on my tags.

yeah... i've been working on tags.... newer listings only so far to see how it goes... last week i typically had items pop on page 1 or 2 for the searches I was expecting... now i am lucky if i show before page 5 if at all..... i know i didn't change so it must have been Etsy. :(

My views have actually been abnormally high the past few days, but in two days with over 100 views each, only 2 of them came from search ads.

I had an hour yesterday that spiked something like 90 views in an *hour*. I normally don't get 90 in a *day*, which makes me wonder if there are problems with the stats recording/reporting.

I paid for search ads and my views were crazy low today! I am so frustrated with Etsy! I loved everything the way it was several months ago. All of this seems to benefit them financially and hurt the seller. If this continues I will be moving my items back to Ebay. I am exhausted of trying to make this work!

My views are significantly lower the past 2 days too. I was averaging about 140 views from etsy search. Today I'm at 90.
