I'm taking a poll -

Do you like to be notified if you've been featured in a treasury list?

When I create a treasury I like to notify all those featured as I like to be notified when I am featured in order to say thank you and comment on it. It's difficult when you are a part of so many circles and are busy creating to check the activity feed, in my opinion. And I really do like to know when I've been featured. It's encouraging to know what people are responding to. In addition, I always write something like "treasury" in the subject line, when sending a treasury notification, so sellers know whether it's from a customer or not.

So thankful to be in a treasury, thankful to be notified. I appreciate any time someone has taken to help get my shop out there and taken the time to also notify me is great. It is great that we can all help each other and encourage others by featuring them in a treasury.

There is a great treasury making app that will send convos out to everyone in your collection. shmetsy.com Just love this app! Etsy has just released a drag and drop app that helps with building collection. It has no convo feature, but shmetsy's will still work on treasuries that that were not created using their app.

I really like being notified as it gives me a chance to make sure that I share the treasury around. I want to thank the person that has taken the time to include me and this way I remember to go check out their shop too. Spread the love around a bit! ;-)

I agree with Gena from BakeAllThings. When I was starting out it was lovely to be notified but now it's a little annoying. Everytime I check my shop there's 2 or 3 convo's and it's all treasury notifications. It's very easy to see when you've been featured without the curator messaging you too. Just uncheck the 'circles' box in your activity feed. Simple.

I like to be notified when I am featured in a treasury, that way I can respond in a timely manner. I am not always at my computer and may miss a treasury I was in otherwise.

I prefer notification. There are times when my activity feed gets away from me and I've missed participating in treasury comments in a timely manner, which I consider very rude. When I get a convo I'm sure to comment and promote!

FYI for Folks who are worried about missing Treasury notifications in their Activity Feeds: Join the Shop Stats Beta Team!"

It'll upgrade the stats in your store with additional Treasury info, and is FANTASTIC! You can see what your most "treasured" items are, what treasuries you've been included in, etc. Really useful stuff!

Because I use this, I always feel bad when folks send me a Treasury notification convo. I always think, "Oh sweetie, you didn't have to waste your time. I already knew and commented on it!"

I would love to be notified because I like to comment and thank as well! I haven't been featured in very many treasuries, so it is nice to know that others are admiring your work! I know that I can see it in the activity feed, but if I don't check it constantly then I may miss an opportunity to say thank you! :)

I like notification - since my Shop is not as busy as I would like it to be LOL, I have plenty of time to read it. But I get those shops whose activity feed is on overload.

I like being notified, but there should be an option to check or uncheck in settings just like other features.

I like to receive notifications. As sometimes my daily job don't let me check my Etsy page too often, so when I receive email about treasury I can immediately check the treasury and comment it. Other wise after a long day or even after two days I don't see anymore message in my activity feed about treasury.. And sometimes in some Treasury games its easier for me to follow featured treasuries with email notifications.
I hope one day I will be in situation when each day I will receive tons of messages from customers and then I won't be glad to receive notification messages about featuring.
Still that I use automatic tool Shmetsy which allows me to send messages to all featured shops in 1min :)

I just like being featured whether or not they notify me. Like Jamy maybe if I ever get super busy I won't like the notifications but for now all is good :)

I'd rather rely on my activity feed than get a convo to tell me when I've been featured in a treasury .

I don't mind being notified at all. It's helpful and I'm always flattered. I just checked my other shop a few minutes ago and got a convo that I was included in a treasury.

I also didn't realize that I could see it in my activity feed. My other shop has only been open since the beginning of July and my shell shop has been open since March. However, I'm still learning new things about Etsy every day - via these threads.

I'm going to look at the activity feed in my other shop regarding being in a treasury.

I'm pretty new, so I do like being notified. I don't always check my activity feed that frequently, so there's a good chance I'd miss it there.

I love treasuries! I am not sure if they have led to a sale or not, but they are cool. I don't mind getting notified, but I do get too excited sometimes thinking is a potential costumer asking a question about an item and then...no, you've been treasured...lol!

Yes, I like to be notified. I know it is in the feed, but I don't look at that. So if you want a response to me, you should let me know!

As a treasury creator, I find that if I send a message, people will thank me by reply and may not even visit the treasury. I wish people would comment publicly on the treasury, as, from what I understand, that moves it up in rankings of "hotness". More hotness = more views = more sales for those featured.
