Sloooow February

Anyone else have a slow February? I've had a "whopping" 3 sales so far.
Not what I was hoping for in February!
How do you deal with these slow times? I've been listing more items and making plans for new spring products. Really hoping the sales improve before long, though!

I love your charms! They are so cute and cheerful. Have you thought of making some of the cupcakes and ice cream cones with flat backs and billing them as pieces to add to hairbows? I would totally use them for my hairbows!

I had 4 sales but it was better than last February when I had zero sales.

I wonder if the increase in postage is a part of the slow sales. I didn't have to raise my US rates, but I had to raise international rates at least $2!

The increase in postage hasn't affected my sales. I shipped an item to Canada a few days ago. And just yesterday I sold a set of Christmas cards! lol

My best month was November through mid-December. It was right after I reopened my shop so I got a little spoiled. These days I'm happy to get 1 or 2 sales a week. I'm not trying to earn a living with my Etsy shop. I'm happy to get a little bit of extra pocket money.

February's been fine for me. I had a very slow December. I think because, being in Canada, shipping would be much slower than ordering from a seller in the same country. (Most of my sales are to the States). I was getting despondent about my shop around then, but I'm pleased that it has picked up the pace again... and I hope it continues to do so!

And, as Judy said, I'm not earning a living here either. This is extra. Although, I do put a whole lot of time into this, so I would be pleased to make more;)

2 sales for me. It's my first February so I can't compare it to anything, but seems pretty slow! I've had a lot of orders OFF of etsy, so I've been busy there at least. My guess is people are swamped with taxes.

Yes, my February has been the slowest month I've had in a few months, but I know that the activity ebbs and flows, so don't get too discouraged! I think you're doing great things by planning for spring and listing more items to keep the momentum moving. Here's hoping for an exciting March in your shop!

Only one sale for me this month. Last February I had none so I have not been expecting much.

I had 5 orders up until Valentine's Day, and then nothing since! I'm feeling lonely! Seems like many of us are in the same boat! Good luck :-)

I've had 5 sales so far in February, so not too bad I guess. I was busy getting ready for my first craft show which was yesterday and now that the show is over I'm feeling antsy about Etsy sales.

Just got my second sale for this month, things really took a nose dive once January ended. Most of my shop is very seasonal, I think people are thinking more about spring now so I am hoping my other shop picks up.

Hi! I hate to say it, but this month has been the busiest since I opened almost two years ago! Maybe a lot of people are having spring babies and are stocking up, not real sure! I hope your sales pickup for all of you!

I went from 3-4 sales a day to just two in the last two days (no sales at all on Valentine's Day). :(

Crossing my fingers that the dry spell ends soon. In the meantime, I am using the time to add items to a new section in my shop: invitations!

Mine has been pretty slow, but I am willing to account for the fact that people are probably purchasing spring items now. I also have not been adding to my inventory like I should have been recently.
