Set a Goal for June

Hi there,

Setting a goal (no matter how small) can help you accomplish more. Take a moment to settle on your goal and then share it here. By writing it down and sharing with others, you'll reinforce your commitment to it.

A goal can be anything from listing a new item to reaching your 100th sale. For example, this month my goal is to work on my Etsy shop for at least one hour a week. Might sound minor, but those hours will add up!

My goal for June is to get through it in one piece! We've moved once this month temporarily and are moving permanently into mine and my partner's first house next week!

I joined in 2011 with big dreams, but ended up doing other exciting things! (went travelling, and got a degree in Fine Art) I'm ready to knuckle down and get this business moving, remove the weeds and plant some flowers!

A week ago I had a goal for June to put myself at 50 items. Now it looks like 35 might be a more realistic goal being so close to the end of the month, but I think I can make it if I push a bit more this Saturday with the photography.

Hi there, I'm Naomi. I do paintings and illustrations and I've been with etsy since 2012. I have only made one sale. I would this month like to add listings. I want to make a bigger impact. Other goals:

-update my profile pic
-read all of my archived etsy success emails (or some)
-focus on my art and creating some new pieces
-make another sale!

I'm a graphic designer and have been selling my digital creations since 2009. It's been a while since I've been on the discussions boards though. :)

My goal for June is to complete some new designs that have just been "sitting around". So far I've listed 2 new Etsy shop banners this month, along with a new 8x10 art print. I'm going to get at least one more shop design and a business card available for sale before the month ends.

Love the idea of this discussion board, as this will push me to get things done!

My June goal is get at least 1 sale everyday. I just made some new stuff for my shop, and I am planning to list them by this weekend. Hopefully that is going to help me.

My goal this month was to hit 50 sales, which I just did. While I don't have complete and absolute control over making sales, I'd like to make a few more goals that would hopefully increase my shop's visibility and listings.

- Participate more in Etsy's online community of members through teams and forums.
- Promote my items through team discussion threads
- Add more items to my inventory, preferably 2-3 times a week.
- Be more selective in the items I choose for my shop.

I'd like to streamline inventory and overall appearance of the shop. I'm still trying to find my niche and not appear like a jumbled mess. But sometimes I can't help fall in love with random vintage items. :)

I posted my goals a week ago and to update, I have reached 2 of the 4! I have finished all of the projects I had started, and I just made my second sale of the month! I'm still working on revise all of my listing info, so I'm hoping to finish by the end of the month. Don't think I'll reach 200 items as I wanted, but I have added to my listings and improved on some older ones :-)

I made my sales goal! It was only to make one more sale by the end of june, but I did it with ten days to spare. I also wanted to design/make 5 new products, I am 2 down. I also want to re-think my shipping costs and am hoping to finalise this today.

I joined Etsy the 11. May 2014, and were lucky to sell the first necklaces already May 20. and June 4.
My goal for June is to get more “traffic”. Improve the pictures of the listed items, setup a Facebook page (finished yesterday), and to invite friends to LIKE, before connection the page to my ETSY shop.
