Set a Goal for June

Hi there,

Setting a goal (no matter how small) can help you accomplish more. Take a moment to settle on your goal and then share it here. By writing it down and sharing with others, you'll reinforce your commitment to it.

A goal can be anything from listing a new item to reaching your 100th sale. For example, this month my goal is to work on my Etsy shop for at least one hour a week. Might sound minor, but those hours will add up!

When sharing your goal for June, please introduce yourself and share how long you've been selling on Etsy.

Hi all! I´m Nora from Estonia!
I´ve been selling on Etsy for about 2 years, was not active about 5 months after one year, now trying to make a comeback! :D
My first goal is to get my target audience to visit my shop, second to make more new items to the shop, third ....to keep my fingers grossed getting first sale after coming back :) ...btw its veryyyy hard while sewing :P

My goal for this June :
- Learn and strengthen again about Story Telling of my shop and collaborated with as much people ^^
- More amazing dress and more sales,, I hope I can sale 6 dresses a month

I'm Angela - I've been on Etsy for 4 years, 2 years selling vintage as Mungo + Midge, based in Dublin, Ireland.

The first half of this year has been a bit of a blip due to personal setbacks and I've had a pile of stock waiting to be listed - it made me exhausted just to look at it!

My June goal was to start listing these items, even a couple a day. Then I was interviewed by a national newspaper about life as an Etsy seller. When I heard the piece was going to be published at the end of the month, it gave me the encouragement I needed to tackle the listing task.

I've now listed over 70 new pieces, made 15 sales and I'm now determined to finish the rest of the listings before the end of the month!

My goal was to relist all my items and improve 10 tags and I managed it!

July goal: Sew up some new designs and make the existing designs in new fabrics. Aim for 4 new listings per week.

My shop was in vacation mode for most of June. My goal now is to get it running again as quickly as possible, get my views back and stock up again for the Christmas in July sale. Traffic to my store has already picked up again.

- to get my consulting shop fully branded (working on this)
- To get the second shop to 1 full page of listings (waiting on graphics)
- to photograph all the existing inventory for this shop and get it listed.
- To get into 1 more farmers market locally and 1 more show this season.

I restarted my shop last March and I hit my 50th sale two days ago! Whoo hoo!

Well I only sold 3 items on here but sold 7 items outside of etsy so I reached my goal of 5 items for June, indirectly. And I have about 15 more items to list to reach my 50 new items for months, I can do this.

My goal for this June was to sell my first fascinator at Etsy and I just did it!
I'm supper happy for that!

Next goal: arrive to 50 items (actually 33)

After being closed for nearly a year I have reopened my Etsy shop. I am excited to get to start over, but with all of the knowledge I learned last time!

My goals are to make a new listing every week and a new item every month.

I opened on June 23rd, much like Tamara! I know art doesn't sell as fast, so I'm just being patient and updating my items with more info and details. July goal is my first sale :) Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Crossing our fingers we hit our Goal within the next two days! We just made our 999th Etsy sale this afternoon! One of our goals at the beginning of the year was to hit 1000 by July but as sales increased, we moved the goal to June!

Our only other goal now, is to be on a Front Page Treasury!

We were also hoping to get chosen as one of the lucky Etsy shops to sell at the NY NOW through Etsy in the Handmade Pavilion.

My goal for June is to get at least 25 items listed, so any prospective buyers will have more to choose from. My next goal is to have at least one sale by July as prints and art seem to have slower starts than other types of listings.

We're almost to our June goal... Our goal at the start of the year was to steadily improve traffic and sales each month. With one exception of a slow month in April, we've met that goal each month. We're just two sales shy of meeting our goals this month, and we're hoping we can make it happen over the next couple days! Almost there!

Hi everyone..
I had a goal to launch my shop by the end of June 2014 .. I finally did it.
I had my first sale the day after I launched. My goal is to get familiar with the Etsy practices and learn how to promote my shop so that it could be my main source of income. This is all new to me - sales, owning or running a small ( ok - tiny) business. My twin goal is to continue creating new offerings and learning how to twitter, open a Pinterest and Facebook and blog and ???? for my new bznz.I would love to be in a support team of other Etsy shop owners - this is my first attempt to get involved .. and I am inviting any insight, critique or points in the right direction for everyone. This is my dream - and I want it to be successful and enjoyable. Thanks.

I am from Minnesota and have 2 special needs kids and I opened my stores I could sell from home and still be here for my kids.I have had my store here for awhile but haven't really been serious until late.. My goal would be to atleast have one sale this month. I appreciate any input and am looking forward to learn from others

To get back into Etsy. Ever since I took the job teaching art in 2008, I have totally neglected my shop.
Super Goals:
1. participate in the groups I'm in
2. sell 20 items on here minimum
3. grow & maintain my "healing" copper line of jewelry
4. keep growing creatively to make some awesome designs
5. get the YOGA line in gear :)
6. Engage in "following" & having "followers"

Hello Etsyiers,
As a newly formed mother and daughter shop, our goal is to optimize our small studio space so that we can refocus our talents on the arts we like the most. We've made lots of progress in getting our new and unused craft supplies organized and ready to sell. But, after years of being eclectic in our crafting journeys, being craft supply consumers got a hold of us and this has unsettled our space. In July, we're going to list all of our sewing patterns. In August, we're going to list all remaining supplies that are no longer purposed for our current projects. Happy selling to all!

I sold something this month! So my goal for the rest of July is to list 10 more things on Etsy. I am very excited to be looking forward to more sales and it has encouraged me no end!
