Set a Goal for July

Hi there,

Setting a goal (no matter how small) can help you accomplish more. Last month we invited sellers to set a goal and share it with the team. Take a look at last month's thread ( https://www.etsy.com/teams/5002/etsy-success/discuss/14658006) where you'll see many sellers reporting they reached their goals or made some progress they felt good about.

Take a moment to settle on your goal and then share it here. By writing it down and sharing with others, you'll reinforce your commitment to it.

A goal can be anything from listing a new item to reaching your 100th sale.

When sharing your goal for July, please introduce yourself and share how long you've been selling on Etsy.

I'll start. I have been working at Etsy for 3 years, and I've been on the Seller Education team for the last year. I just moved so my goal for July is to set up a studio space in the new place. What about you?

Goal right now is to get some projects done, custom order and waiting for the air temp to be less humid.
For July, would like to be at 450 sales to move into August and have a good bulk of fall and Christmas items completed and listed.

I've been selling on Etsy for about 10 months and feel like things are finally starting to move a bit. My goals for July:

1. I will list 3 or 4 new items.
2. I will spend one hour per week interacting with my Teams.
3. I will continue working on my Christmas inventory -- at least one hour per week.

Hopefully that will bring in a couple more sales; I'd love to hit 35 this month.

Hello lovely ladies!! I set up last week and just had my first sale tonight!! And it felt amazing!! So I guess my goal for July would be to make more sales!! Let's set a goal of 5 more sales =) by the way - any tips on how to network/get my page out there? Thanks! x

As I recently took the big step to start an Etsy business, my main goal is to set up my shop's branding, with patience and trial and error mode! And as a bonus goal I aim to my first sale. :)

I have three items to take photos and post and one almost done. My goal for July then is to post these four and work on some smaller, quicker projects to enhance my shop. Hopefully these will also sell while the weather is warm.

-decrease my turn around time. It's been about 6+ weeks and I want to get it down to 4.
-Expand my shop to include custom drawings and portraits

Hi,
I've had my shop on etsy for 2 1/2 yrs
but only made 9 sales (some of those were swaps)

My etsy shop has been rather neglected generally as I was focusing on craft fairs, then I was focusing on sorting out my own website, and on uk sales through folksy, and i didn't have the money for lots of listings or the time to then promote them

I have quite a few free listings built up, a bit more time now, my own website is looking good, and i'm not currently doing fairs, focusing online instead, so i've decided to list a load of items, have an overhaul of my etsy shop, join in some teams, and give etsy a final push

so my goals for this month:
* reach at least 50 items listed in my shop (currently 25 due to a mad listing spree yesterday and today)
* join in more team events/activities
* re-do my shop policies
* make at least 1 sale

I opened my shop June 21. Have had 3 sales. My goal is to have 4 more sales in July and to add 4 new listings.

7 sales so far, I average 30 to 35 during the slow months in the summer so will try to hit 40 sales in July

One thing I am focusing on is income. I make less sales each month, but my income has doubled year to date :)

Next month I'll celebrate my 8th Etsyversary!

My main July goal is to get all of my destash relocated from my "2nd shop" to this shop. While I prefer the idea of having a separate shop for my non-handmade things, I've learned that it just doesn't work for me. I know, how hard is it to log out of one account and log into another account? But it hasn't worked well for me; I've never been much into promoting the other shop because my focus is 100% on this shop, so I'm going to try putting everything in the same shop (again); the destash will be at the back of the shop since my primitive folk art will continue to be the main focus here.

Outside of Etsy, I continue to try and find a permanent job ... at least part-time, though I would also (happily!) accept full-time employment as well. If anyone reading this is hiring in the Sacramento area, let's talk!

Now that I have a new Etsy Banner (hope they keep Banners in!!) I'm working on updating my photos and backgrounds to suite my shop. July goal is to replenish stock that has sold...paint, paint, paint!!!

Hi, we've been on Etsy since mid April 2014 but have been selling at medieval fairs and markets for several years.

Our goals for July are:

1) Get our listings to 90
2) Double last months sales total and take 200 euros
3) Double google.com traffic hits from 12 to 24

Seem to be on target so far!

Hello all! Back after a year long hiatus. I think since I'm just opening this shop again, my goal for July will be to finish adding new listings and hopefully make at least one sale. I'm not going to overestimate my launch since I'm starting over again but a sale or two would be nice.
