Set a Goal for July

Hi there,

Setting a goal (no matter how small) can help you accomplish more. Last month we invited sellers to set a goal and share it with the team. Take a look at last month's thread ( https://www.etsy.com/teams/5002/etsy-success/discuss/14658006) where you'll see many sellers reporting they reached their goals or made some progress they felt good about.

Take a moment to settle on your goal and then share it here. By writing it down and sharing with others, you'll reinforce your commitment to it.

A goal can be anything from listing a new item to reaching your 100th sale.

When sharing your goal for July, please introduce yourself and share how long you've been selling on Etsy.

I'll start. I have been working at Etsy for 3 years, and I've been on the Seller Education team for the last year. I just moved so my goal for July is to set up a studio space in the new place. What about you?

I've been on Etsy since December and no sales. I also have my paintings in a gallery and they are selling in the gallery.
1. My goal is to figure out how to sell them on Etsy.
2. Redo some of my pictures.
3. And get more listed.

I have been on Etsy for about 2 years, but I took about a year break to have a baby. My goal is to work at building momentum for my shop again and hopefully selling at least one item a week =)

I have had many setbacks getting Etsy going, mostly personal, health etc. My goal is to get 10 items listed this month.

Fine tuning the pictures so they show the best.

My July goal is to get more variety of items in my shop. I have a few ideas floating around and ones that I am testing out; just need to finalize them. Also, I have been researching SEO so I can better my listings. Along with working on promoting my items I also need to figure out how I can better communicate exactly what my items are. The last seems to be what I struggle with the most and have been told that people are just unsure what they are for (specifically the focus bottles).

I'm new to etsy -only opened my store a couple of weeks ago but love the community feel and the amazing products on offer.

Hmm-- I think I'm going to pick a goal of getting all of my current magnet casting finished and posted before August 1st. :)

I've been having such fun making molds from silicone caulk and then casting in them-- I haven't stopped to actually FINISH anything! So far only the horses are actually in the store, time to get the cats and birds and dogs and gryphons up there too!

Hello , my name is Komal. I have been selling on Etsy for over 4 years now. My goal in the month of July is to reach my 2500th sale . I am at 2420 right now .:-)
Etsy is a great platform to sell.

Hello.... My name is Cindy and my shop Cecrafts has been open for 3 years.

These are my goals for July.
1. To reach 875 in sales... Now I have 862
2. To complete all my orders and get them sent out
3. To stock my inventory for the holiday season
4. To set up and get all my 15 teams ready for the holidays

I have been selling on Etsy since January 2011. My goal for July is to launch a new product line - working on staying fresh and current. Summertime is a great time to find inspiration!

And might I add that is is easy to get stuck in the rut of the slow sale season. It is important t keep looking forward and push through it, keep working and be open to new ideas! :)

I just want to get my shop up and running I have neglected my shop due to working full time, studying and family stuff all the things I'm sure we all have to manage. I have been with Etsy for quite a while I have not marketed stuff or really developed style. I have the ideas but then got bogged down in everyday matters but I don't want to lose or give up my dormant shop. So my goal is just to list 8 new items really and find my focus.It will be interesting to see if I can accomplish this thanks Deb.

Hi, I am in my 3rd year of working my Shop full time. I have a 5 year plan and things are going pretty well, getting to the point where I actually get a 1099 from Etsy is my ultimate long term Goal. I spent the first 2 years learning so much, with the help of the great Teams I've joined, their support and help has proven to be invaluable! I've made some great friends and love working at home. I believe you get out of Etsy what you put in, they are here to help you succeed in your own business. I am thankful for the opportunity to do what I love!

My Goal for July is to reach 300 Sales, that is 52 Sales in 28 days! I will be hitting Christmas In July hard, Treasuries, Tweets, Instagram, listings and praying!
