Set a Goal for July

Hi there,

Setting a goal (no matter how small) can help you accomplish more. Last month we invited sellers to set a goal and share it with the team. Take a look at last month's thread ( https://www.etsy.com/teams/5002/etsy-success/discuss/14658006) where you'll see many sellers reporting they reached their goals or made some progress they felt good about.

Take a moment to settle on your goal and then share it here. By writing it down and sharing with others, you'll reinforce your commitment to it.

A goal can be anything from listing a new item to reaching your 100th sale.

When sharing your goal for July, please introduce yourself and share how long you've been selling on Etsy.

I'll start. I have been working at Etsy for 3 years, and I've been on the Seller Education team for the last year. I just moved so my goal for July is to set up a studio space in the new place. What about you?

Okie Doke. My July goal is to create at least one piece of jewelry for my shop, take a photo of it and post it!! Baby steps in the beginning.

I've been a seller on Etsy since 2009, but always have room for improvement!
This month I'd like to have at least 120 items consistently listed, as well as improve my sales and stats from June, which wasn't a good month for me at all!

My goal for July will be to surpass the income I received for June's sales. Also, to add more "wedding day" items to my shop, such as programs, menus and seating chart designs. :)

Setting a goal in june really worked for me, hope it happens in july too :)

my goal for july is to reach 340 sales, which I am 23 away by now...

My goal is to get back to the sales numbers I had in 2012 in my old shop. ;)

My goal is to sell my first copy of my latest children's book The House on Hare Hill. I've sold lots in the fayres and markets I do, but none on Etsy yet. It's suitable for 3-8year olds and is about a Hare who gives up boxing and takes up yoga!

I've had my shop for 3 years but haven't spent enough time on it. That's my other goal...to become more visible.

My goal for July is to introduce new dog breeds to my Wood Beach Signs, Welcome Signs and Coasters. Since opening my shop, I have mostly concentrated on Golden Retrievers as I volunteer with a Golden Rescue group and it's been easy to paint their adorable faces because I see so many of them! So now I am branching out and painting Labrador Retrievers, Poodles, etc. as I have a good Golden inventory. So my goal for July is to start building up that inventory of other breeds. So much fun - yes - so much fun!!!!

Oh, I have been Bunny Totem Knits on Etsy for a few months. I was on as a different shop a few years ago.

I opened my store at the beginning of June and sold 2 pieces last month!!! YAY! I'm ready to keep the ball rolling for July. As a new etsy store owner I'm still keeping my goals small and achievable while I navigate learning how to sell, so my goals for July:
1. have at least one sale.
2. get my June customer to leave a review.
3. get one hundred followers for my store (I currently have 40).

I have been on Etsy for five years and I love it!!

I have neglected my shop in the last year because we sold our house, moved in a small cottage for four months and will be moving again to Europe (huge move) in a month!
My goals are:
1. Post at least five new watercolors per week and
2. Make two treasuries a week as well for the next month.

I have been painting but I just haven't had the time to post and promote. It's tough but I have to organize my schedule better!

My Etsy shop has been open approx 18 mos. and I've had months here and there where I have neglected my shop due to busy home life. Now I am motivated to make this my source of income! My goals for July are to increase my listings from 45 to 100 and to make $100 in sales.

Hello July!

I've been selling on Etsy since 2006 - hard to believe it's been that long - sometimes I feel like I'm just getting started.

I have two Etsy goals for this month:
1. Photograph the finished items and get them listed in the shop.
2. Start the Christmas knitting! Maybe then it will be ready to list in November or even sooner.

And my non-Etsy goal: refinance the house. That's in progress right now and should be done before the end of the month. Hooray!

I've had my shop for quite awhile. I realized I have been selling beads more than jewelry. Since then, I have been spending my time getting my beads up on the site. My goal is to get into a sales mode. Lot's and lots of bead sales. I can't wait, they are so much fun to make.

I've had an Etsy shop for 3 years, but have actively been focusing on it for 2. In July I want to expand on June's success, learn to scan my large paintings, and find a source to have my art turned into greeting cards.

My goal for the end of July is to have ten item listings. I currently have four, so six more would be very helpful. Everyone I have been talking to has said that the more items you have, the more sales you get.
Also, I want to have better, more clear pictures. I am a portrait photographer, so product photography is very different to me. I have read a lot about it and am determined to photograph my items in an appealing way.
As it was last month, my goal for this month is to have my first sale. I know that my items are worth it, and I want other people to have them as well.
My final goal is to come up with a great name for my shop, as this is something that I have really been struggling with!
