I love that large search items are broken into sections by Etsy now. For instance if you type in chainmaille jewelry there will be sections at the top labeled bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc, which makes it easier for a buyer to narrow down a search and for a seller to get seen.
So my question is if a buyer types in chainmaille jewelry and then clicks on bracelets and then clicks on my bracelet how will it show up in my stats? Chainmaille jewelry or chainmaille bracelet? I'm thinking it will show up as chainmaille jewelry since that was the original search.
I think it'll show up as Chainmaille Jewelry since that's what they typed in. If they find it from a section in your shop, it'll shop up as "from sections" or something like that. Hope that helps!
I am going to do the search as you suggest. It will show in your stats as a search from teams. Perhaps my search will answer your question. I do not recall if the stats show time, but right not it is 9:28 p.m. CDT zone. Here I go.

I found a search for that bracelet for "chainmaille jewelry" that said it was between 10-10:30 pm which I think is because Etsy seems to run off Eastern time. It's the only view that bracelet had for "chainmaille jewelry" that day and I don't see one for chainmaille bracelet, so that must be it. So that answers my question! Thanks again! :)
