How about taking a couple folding chairs with arms, and some sort of small folding tables to go with them. Then drape blankets over the corner of each chair, and add a couple of books or magazines, a mug, etc. on each table to make your displays look cozy and homey. Another thing to take for display is a small, wooden ladder to lean against something solid. The ladders are so simple to make and great for displaying blankets, either at shows, at home or as a photo prop. If you could make a few, you could possibly sell them at your show as a way to display/store the customer's blankets at home.
One thing I had heard from other sellers and definitely noticed at my last sale was to group small, inexpensive items in a ziplock bag or have a group of items hooked together as one unit. Then put a inexpensive price on the group. People love to buy a bag or group of things for a cheap price. Every thing I had bagged sold out. Even things I was sure would not sell. I had a friend who used to have fantastic success at craft shows with customers following her around to the different craft fairs. She would average at least $1,800 per show (she sold mainly country style floral décor). When the financial crises hit a few years ago, she got where she could barely make enough to cover her show expenses. Then she tried putting together small bags of potpourri for $5.00 a bag. At ever show, she would sell out of those bags. She learned to make up at least enough of those bags to cover the cost of her booth fees. It really helped during those lean years. Not everyone makes items that they can afford to sell for such a low amount, but if you can, it may be worth it to include something in that line with your other items.
One other thing. If you don't have one at home, it will be worth the expense to get one of the dolly/cart/hand trucks to use to haul your tables, display items, and tubs. The cart I am talking about has a handle that can be attached to the wheel part where the cart can be used standing upright as an appliance cart or horizontal where you can lay the items across it. Those are extremely useful when carrying your items into the show, and very practical to have for home use. It really cuts down on the number of trips from your vehicle to your booth space and saves your back and arms from having to carry everything that distance. When it comes to setting up and taking down your booth display items, you never know what distance you will have to haul everything. Good luck.
