Problems with Wanelo?

For a while, when I was first using Wanelo, I had tons of "likes" (or the Wanelo equivalent of a like). I would have multiple ones every day. But now, I have 0 activity. I have uploaded lots more of my items and tagged them like crazy, but I hardly ever have any "likes." Am I doing something wrong in Wanelo? It used to get me tons of views but not anymore.

Is this just me or are any of you having little luck with Wanelo?

The site has been acting funny lately, more so than usual. So maybe it's turning people away?

That's a possibility. When I try to load/post something, it says that an error has occurred or something (some kind of problem), but then when I click on my profile, it has indeed loaded/posted the item. But, like I said, no "activity" or people favoriting things.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who is experiencing the site acting up. Anyone else?

The error thing has happened to me too when I was posting a couple days ago. And I haven't seen any Wanelo veiws posted in my stats either, but I had some last month. Hmmm.

I've had this problem and was wondering the same thing. I wonder when they're going to catch on and fix this?!

Should I contact Wanelo about it? Maybe if enough of us do something, then it will get fixed. However, it seems to be working for some of you...

The weekend is the best time to post, not a lot of action and you can get your items to trend. Now remember (or maybe you may not know this) items now only trend for 48 hours. So I suggest you add only one item every 48 hours and work on get a few saves on it. Once it has a few it will move up the trending ladder and more people will save it.

Just started a Wanelo team and we are holding our trending saves thread only once every 2 days for this reason.

Every time I try to save something I recieve a your not signed in error, even though I am. I have given up on it.

Bill, can you explain what you mean? They "trend for only 48 hours"? Do you mean that they only circulate or are available for 48 hours in searches?

I get the error thingee too. lol Must be a common problem. The first day I joined Wanelo I posted three of my items and they all made it to the front page and brought quite a lot of business to my etsy shop, after that, not much. I had one item on the first page yesterday and today, but it didn't bring too much business, maybe a little, but not like the other time. In between, I have not had much activity at all, whether I posted new items there or not. I wish I knew how to really work it right. :) Not sure how to do things there like sort of exchanging saves or whatever you need to do. Anyone have the scoop on that?

If you go to wanelo right now and you see all of those items they are currently trending. This means they were added in the last 48 hours and have been getting enough saves to move them up the list. After the 48 hours the item then moves to the most popular section and can continue to get saves-however it is harder to find as the default is the trending today items.
