What is my Style?

When I list new items - I make embroidery hoop art, yarn wrapped wreaths and felt flowers - I struggle with what "Style" to label myself.

Is it Folk? or Rustic? (Or should I skip this section?)

Thanks for any help!

Re: What is my Style?

You can pick two styles to list your item under anyway, so why not go for both?

Re: What is my Style?

Hi Cathy. I struggle with the same issue . . . I have always left it blank. I wonder if it's better to leave it blank than selecting a style that doesn't really fit. ????
Love your work, btw. B

Re: What is my Style?

They look like both rustic art and folk art to me. I would use both to draw in both sets of interested buyers.

Very sweet items, too.

Re: What is my Style?

Thanks all!
I just recently discovered these "styles".
Before I was just making my own up, like "whimsical" and "kitschy" LOL.

Anyway, thanks again :)

Re: What is my Style?

I too have a problem figuring what style something is. But what I wonder is the question 'Does the style have any effect on searches?' I would love to use the style and free some of the tags for other terms, and yet it seems that the style does not do much, so I sometimes stick the info into tags.
