Re: Please check my store

Hi Becky,
Welcome aboard. I took a look and your shop and have the following suggestions.

1. Work on your banner. It looks squished.

2. try a different background for your pictures. You don't have to use white like everyone else, but it should be simple and compliment your product not distract from it. Your cozies are dark so maybe use a lighter background. (like sand?)

Seeing your product in action also helps. Try photographing your cozy on a cup.
3. Work on your descriptions. Add more. Describe your fabric, give measurements. How would you describe it if you didn't have a picture.

4. Your tags could use some work. I think I read somewhere that multi word tags work best. Check out Cindy Lou Who SEO team. Its a great place to get tips on tags and titles.

Good luck to you in the new year!

Hi Becky - is a cosy what we would call 'stubby coolers' or 'stubby holders' here in Australia? Maybe you need to be clear about the purpose of these and as Nikki said, some photos in use would help. Also, you don't have a postage price for anywhere other than the US which I find puts me off buying sometimes.

Re: Please check my store

Hi Becky!

I'd suggest you do some work on your banner as its rather thin right now.

I'd also suggest that you finish building your shop. You are missing your shop announcement, shop title, shop 'about' page, shop policies, and the only information at all that you've listed is that you are a stay at home mom and like to craft.

I like to see at least the shop policies when I look at a shop as well as a shop title and a little bit about the shop in the announcement.

If you compare your shop to a B&M shop, it looks like you've bought the space and moved in a little bit of merchandise but haven't even considered the overall look.

Might I suggest that you add perhaps a drink to your coozies? I had no idea what they were because the title was truncated, and the thumbnail image was just the image.. and not really the product. This might help people identify what you are selling quicker.

Also, the same about the banner you need to adjust the size according to what Etsy requires, it looks very unprofessional as it is.

Re: Please check my store

Hi I agree there is some improvement to be made about your shop appearance. You should maybe make use of the 5 images you can add per product. I noticed on one of the banners one out of two images is blurry, this could be amended to a clearer image.
You should certainly look into building up your shopfront with "about" info, highlighted items, and cropping your image (in the final stage of adding an item, top right hand side). These will all add to the coherence and "readibility" or your shop :)
You could also add a little more text to your descriptions, like the dimensions, or even an inspirational quote? They look a bit bare at the moment!
Finally I always read that the more items the more views, and the more sales!
