Packing Tape

Happy Sunday everyone!

I use scotch packing tape (2" wide) to ship my packages. I currently buy them on Amazon. Where do you buy yours and is there another brand that works as well?

Re: Packing Tape

You can also purchase it from uline.com or from royalmailers. com

You may also find it at your local hardware store in quantity at a reasonable price.

And during the 'back to school' sales, your local business supply store many also have it on sale at a reasonable discount.

Re: Packing Tape

I use scotch too. I have been lucky and bought most on clearance at office supply stores.

Re: Packing Tape

Not sure if you use the tape to tape labels - but, I have found these to work absolutely wonderfully! (sticky adress labels) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007FWVHC6/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Re: Packing Tape

My husband gets ours off EBay..whoever has the cheapest 36 rolls 110 yards and 2mil (we got lower mil once..bad idea!) w/ free shipping. Our last batch this week was $41.. cheaper than ULine and free shipping (you have to pay shipping on ULine and tape is heavy!) My husband said he thinks our last batch was Valumailer (Value Mailer?) He is my supply getter!

Re: Packing Tape

Uline or Amazon (also use Valumailer) are my go to people for shipping & packing needs. Can't buy largest quantity yet, as I'm running out of storage space......so still not getting the best price break.

These kinds of things would be great to purchase with someone locally who uses the same product. Get the better price, but only have to store half of the order. Thinking.....

Re: Packing Tape

Great ideas everyone!! I am marking this thread for when I purchase next.

Julie, would love to try the labels!! Currently, I print my label on plain paper to save $$.

Re: Packing Tape

I buy my scotch mailing tape and bubble mailers from Sams Club. It's inexpensive for me.

Re: Packing Tape

I'm using packing tape left over from moving last year. It will take me a couple of years to use it up. (yeah, I bought too much)

Re: Packing Tape

Valuemailer is really reasonable, and super fast Priority Shipping too.
