Ordering from China

Do any of you guys order supplies from China? It's cheaper but takes FOREVER. I am sitting here on my 3rd week of waiting from a fellow Etsy member from China. I could scream. I need to save on supplies in order to make a profit but this is nuts. Could you guys refer me to any suppliers in the states that aren't super expensive? I like to order silver and bronze chains (with and without clasps), really cool and unique pendents (like day of the dead stuff). I have a shop and I want to aim for the retro, rockabilly crowd. Any help would be much appreciated.

have you tried ebay? but maybe a lot of those sellers are from China too, eh?

I stay stateside in all my ordering. It took me a lot of searching to find the vendors I use, both here and on eBay. I have ordered bezel cups from a seller on eBay that is located in Israel, and it took about 2 weeks to get my items.

I would recommend just searching and comparing shops. It's true I don't make as much profit, but I get my supplies faster, and I feel that I'm doing my little part in helping keep jobs in the states.

I ordered from India and it took me 4 weeks... China airmail to USA normally is about 11~16 days, as far as I know. Maybe you can try to find some suppliers who are located in U.S. but sell stuff bought in China? It might be a little more expensive but saves a lot of time...
