One Listing and Multiple Shop Sections

Is it possible to have one listing assigned to more than one shop section?

For example, it would be useful to have a pink item assigned to both "Valentine's Day" and "Girl's Birthday".

I do not want to have duplicate a single listings just to put in different shop sections because it becomes to much to manage. I prefer to keep it simple and do not like the idea that a customer will see duplicates if looking at all the items (and not a specific section).

Not at this time, unfortunately! I've wished for that capability AND more sections. What you can do is tag them with the different possibilities as I do some of my wedding/valentine/romance cards

I agree. A few more sections would be nice. Having the option to add a single listing to 3 sections would be great. Maybe someone from Etsy will make this an option in 2014.

Having subsections might also work. Like having an overall pottery section with subsections in vases, mugs and bowls for example.

I wish there was too. It would be nice for me to have an item in "scarves" and in "ready to ship." Maybe someday. :)

Yes yes yes I'm all in for this! I agree about the subsections - that's a fab idea. As a shopper I don't always want to be specific - for example why would I just want to look at mugs? I would prefer to look at the whole pottery section to see what's available. Having subsections would give you that option. Perfect!

Oh my goodness I was just thinking about the luxury of having this feature this morning when I wanted one item in two sections and had to choose. PLEASE ETSY add this feature:)

I also wish they would fix the photo upload so that we can upload all pics in one click. It is so time consuming to wait for each picture to upload.

I wish that was a possibility. And the option to have more than 10 sections...

You can list a back link in your descriptions. For example, I have "this item in another color" and list the link (which I created by doing a search in my own shop and provided the link). Check out one of my countdown listings as an example. I believe this helps the customers wade their way through all of the options.

It’s been 10 years and Etsy still hasn’t made this an option. Unbelievable.

Was thinking the same! It doesn't seem like a complicated update, to add the functionality to list an item in more than one section. For instanct a Christmas Sweatshirt in "Christmas" and "Sweatshirts".
