This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

I'm celebrating hearing "Cha-Ching!" twice this week...two days in a row! That's great for me! Plus I had a free shipping code all week...yet no one used it...hmm.. oh well...great week!

Well, after a little get-together and a few meetings, I will be officially moving into a stunning new studio space--something that I am so incredibly excited for! While this is just the beginning for The North Way Studio, I already that much more accomplished for finally pushing myself to truly follow my vision and dreams. Thank you Etsy for giving me the ability--and platform--to connect with such talent and kindness, both near and far!

Happy to announce I've made my 2nd sale since opening my shop, and my 1st this month. My goal is 5 sales in July so hopefully my Christmas in July sale will help!

Just opened my shop in mid-June! I'm excited for this new adventure and hope to learn a lot about owning a small business! I have 8 views for today which is 7 more than yesterday! Slow progress but its still something! Hoping for more success and hopefully a sale before July ends! Thanks in advance for all your support and advice! :)

Today marks something momentous for me... My shop now has 200 items listed. That is the most I have ever had in the shop at any time, and I still have a long way to go! Here's to going big or going home!

Since I opened back in 2010, this etsy thing was mostly a hobby that I would do in my spare time with working a full time job. Slowly it has started to take up more space in my life, until finally, the 1st of June I "quit my day job"

Since then I have been working away at getting all the lovely Items I have been collecting at a much faster rate than I list up in the Shop and really giving it my all. I am so happy with my shops look and Feel and I am continuing to grow! I am so excited I just needed to share with everyone :-D

I have been open since the end of April...I have had 4 sales for far! I am celebrating the fact of joining some teams and meeting new people on Etsy. This has been a happy experience this week. I am also celebrating a new banner and avatar coming in the next few days!! Yay

When I first opened my ETSY shop a little over 3 months ago my hands were actually shaking when I clicked on the 'open shop' button; I had been delaying the move for almost a year as I felt I wanted to get everything 'perfect' and knew that that was far from the case when I took the plunge. I am so glad that I did, because the first thing I have learned is that this will always been a work in progress and that I will always be working to improve my product and presentation in order to move forward and grow my business. I am celebrating 100 shop favorites today; so exciting and my goal is to translate that into more sales in the coming months! I am so grateful for the ETSY venue and all the support I have received from my customers and fellow ETSY sellers, and have enjoyed seeing others reach their milestones as well!

Hi everyone,

I'm a new seller I opened up my store the 25th of June and I made my first sale on the 1st of July.
It's a two for one seeing that it was my first sale and was an international sale!
Now I'm hearing crickets :0) but that's ok because I've still got lots of work to do on improving the store so I'm focusing on that.

I got my first sale! I've been open for about a month now, and was fighting off the discouragement, so I was thrilled! I was up all night obsessing over all the little details of the order to make sure I didn't miss anything haha. Making my first sale was one of my goals for July, now just to work on my others: build up stock, and network.

Hi everyone,

I am new to Etsy and have been working hard to learn everything I can about what it takes to have a successful Etsy shop. I created a line of table linens with an emphasis on custom options.

Today I had my first international sale from Stockholm, Sweden. Super fun and encouraging.

Wow Karen; checked out your site and it is unbelievably professional! I have a new shop as well and had reservations about shipping abroad, but as many views are coming from outside the US, it seems very self limiting to restrict shipping options...

I think Etsy has become such an international marketplace that we really need to think globally to make the most of this opportunity.
