Nov. 5: Online Lab - Crash Course in Holiday Marketing

On Wednesday November 5th at 3pm (EST) we'll be hosting a live crash course in Holiday Marketing in the Online Labs. Ask your questions here about holiday marketing and we'll take the time to answer as many as possible during our 30 minute session.

What is a good cut-off date for shipping for items in stock? I ship by priority mail in the US and by first class elsewhere.

Gift wrapping is a problem for me. My waxed canvas bags are relatively large and floppy. I always wrap them in kraft paper with red twine or twill tape but the packages are lumpy, not crisp and neat. Is that a big problem?

I've not found any ready-made gift boxes that fit my items well. Is there some way to build gift boxes to fit from eco-conscious materials?

And yes, my shop has been in dead-action for over a week.

GloriousDetails ~ Not sure if you got any help, but as an experienced seller, add it as you make it.

It will put you on an activate view of new items and hopefully add traffic to your shop of viewers each time.

If you add all of it at once you limit the option of more exposure to your Etsy Shop, as you will have loading it all in one da,y instead of spreading it out for more opportunity of views!
