In need of a little critiquing, please.

Hey guys!
New to this Group, but I thought I'd just get this out and see if any of you could critique my shop? I started off great last summer and fall, and maybe that was just because of Christmas, but things have really slowed down and I'm wondering if it's because of something going on in the shop. My prices or shipping prices? Photos (which I know aren't perfect, but didn't know if they looked off to others)? I don't know, but I'd love some feedback. Thank you!!!!

i tried..but i don't know what to say.. basically i think your shop look and prices are ok...they just need more views from the ready buyer. Maybe you could ask your previous customer why they choose the item and start from there?

that's a good idea. thanks for looking! I'm trying the search ads too to try and drum up some traffic, but I literrally just started those yesterday, so we'll see I guess.

How are your views? Are you still getting just as many as before or have your views also slowed down?

I can't really see anything that screams 'DO NOT BUY!' from your shop! It looks lovely!

Can you identify anything you've been doing differently since your busy period ended?

Some things I thought of that could help you get found when I looked at you shop were:
I think you could add more descriptive terms to your titles.
You could go through your listings checking that all the terms you use come up as popular terms when typed into the search box (e.g. flowers tile mini doesn't come up, but mini mosaic tiles' does. )

I'm not sure if people shop for tiles knowing that they want a specific motif in mind- I think they know they want tiles of some kind, but then browse what styles and designs come up and see what takes their fancy from there.

You have lots of similar tiles in different colourways which are all titled the same way. If you diversify the keywords and phrases (again using the search bar to identify popular terms) on those similar items then you'll potentially be meeting a larger market. so for example call some of your flower tiles 'ceramic flower' 'ceramic tile -flower' 'floral mosaic tiles' 'floral tiles' 'pottery tiles - flower' 'pottery flower' 'ceramic art tile' etc (All those terms are ones which come up in search) but NOT Flower tile as that search is not popular and doesn't come up when I type it in!

I really like your work. We have seen the same drop off. As the country enters spring and summer people are outside more....(at least this is what I tell myself) lol.

I had photo issues too. Not that yours are bad they aren't. I've ended up with painter's lights ( wall painters) from the hardware store and a photo tent. The lights are on the outside of the tent. Although I think glazing has got to be trickier. then on the camera I went to the "vivid" setting which worked with out flash to get ok pics. Yesterday I had a monitor question so I still struggle.

Everything will be okay. Do you pinterest? I enjoy it and think the exposure is good. I'll pin ya!
