Etsy admin feels they have to constantly revamp our shop layout for the buyer which is nice, but honestly, I can't find my way around my own shop. Buttons I use a lot, like the "rearrange your shop button" is totally missing. I like to see my pages at full view...not any more. I could go on but want to be somewhat nice and patient (?)!

Anyone else have their shop a test for this new layout?
What do you think?

Re: I hate the new shop layout!

I finally got out of the test.. whew…. but at work if i check on my shop that is in the test… oh well

Re: I hate the new shop layout!

Okay, losing the banner sux I don't know why they had to do that there is still room... and announcements gone is dumb and I like to re-arrange my shop too.

HOWEVER - the NEW layout is AWESOME from a buyers point of view, it is so much more modern and fresh, people can see my new items and what people have favourited recently so there are different things showing up all the time without me having to do that. Just seeing all the items on one page like before may be what we have been used to for years - but it's time that got UPDATED and that is what Etsy is doing! Do you sell elsewhere? Etsy is one of the freshest sites around - I LOVE the new shop layout although it is certainly not yet perfected I believe it is a big step forward.

Re: I hate the new shop layout!

It's actually kind of ugly. I believe the classic view is the best.
Even so, the new improvements added to it are quite useful from the buyer's point of view. But all of those improvements could be added to the classic view. It is still enough room under the left table, and the page could always be lengthened a little in order to fit a preview of the about page and what have people favorited lately.
