Same month of last year I got 15 sales in total. I expect, with more promotion and more listed items, I can get over 25 sales this month. Finger-cross!
I've had a big jump in views this month, and I've exceeded last November's revenue already, just halfway through the month. My shop is still very small compared to the big successful shops but I'm encouraged by the improvement. I think it's because I sell Christmas ornaments and people are starting to shop early this year. At least that's what the news is saying. Maybe snowed-in people are online shopping. I don't know, but I'm grateful and hoping it continues.
no sales at all on etsy so far - not just this month either :'( feeling very disheartened, finding my social media sites to be dwindling as well, making things very difficult, but will keep on trying and hoping. Also had a few non payers of late on social media which is the worst because they never even contact to just let you know
Only 2 sales so far, lots of views but not so many favourites. October was my best month since I started in March this year. I found Wanelo is really easy and quick to list on, and have got some extra traffic from there- I had never heard of it before!
Last month I decided to follow a plan of adding a new item or renew 2 items every day, post daily on pinterest and facebook. So far I tripled my views from October and I've had 5 sales so far. Compared to last November I have more sales but less revenue. Seems like people spent less money this year.
8 sales so far. This is my first holiday season on Etsy, so I expected it to be busier, but I am happy with what I have so far. I am still reworking a lot of my titles and tags though. I only just learned about SEO in the past month (blush). I was blithely working away since the end of May with just putting any old thing in the titles and tags that I though were relevant. Boy was I in for a surprise when I started reading up on things! Lots of work to do, but every business has to grow, not many take off like wildfire right from the get-go.
We've only been open since the end of August and have sold only 2 items in that time (not through Etsy, unfortunately, so they don't show up). I've been working on our tags, hoping we will get better at SEO. We also have a FB page, where we announce new listings, and Instagram, where we show what we're working on. Still, I'd love to get some sales and we're hoping the U.S. Thanksgiving will kick off some Christmas shopping.
My views are getting better after working on my SEO.
I kind of slowed down adding things to my shop because I'm working on product for upcoming fairs. Hopefully sales/views will pick up after the fairs (the first one is on the 29th).
I'm also finishing up a new pattern that will be listed this week.
Zero. I've always had an average of one sale a week since I joined Etsy, but now nothing for a month. Very disappointing - especially with holiday time approaching.
November has been my best month EVER - 77 sales so far! I've been working extremely hard and I'm proud of my shop but I still see a lot of room for improvement
I"m at 2 sales for November so far, which is very disappointing. October was my best month ever so I had high hopes. Frustrating. I don't think I'm doing anything differently this month. Any ideas?
Well, on a positive note, I've been participating in craft fairs + jewelry parties this month and sales have gone well in those cases.
But on the Etsy front, this is actually my first November where I've lost money -- so far -- since opening my shop in 2010. Very frustrating as I *have* put a lot of time and energy into trying to change this. But the month isn't over yet, so I'm still hopeful! But I am backing away a bit, and investing more energy into venues which are actually working for me this Holiday season.
