Same month of last year I got 15 sales in total. I expect, with more promotion and more listed items, I can get over 25 sales this month. Finger-cross!
I've worked on my SEO and tags all year and my views are up and my annual sales are up as well. For some reason Christmas sales on Etsy just are not good for me - I never have done much in November and December on Etsy. Not sure if it is the type of product I sell or what - anyone have any thoughts.....
4 sales. Not one for the last 4 days. I am not sure it is going to pick up. Lot of views and fav but no sales. I think French vintage is going out of interest. October was much better. Good Luck to all.
Jackie, I see you've got the basics of SEO down, but not the details.
Your tags aren't the ones that buyers are using to look for what you're selling. (Oh, and many of your tags have typos in them.)
Learn to use the Google Keyword Planner to find out which keywords are being searched for, then compare that to the competition that's also using each phrase. That's how you know whether the keyword is being searched for AND what kind of competition you're facing.
Also, I couldn't tell at first glance what you're selling. You should include a photo that shows your door hangers on a door, as closeup as you can get while still conveying what it is. I know you say what you're selling in your shop announcement, but most buyers don't look at that first, they look at the fun images.
I think you need more Christmas hangers and general use hangers, followed by Valentine's Day hangers. Right now you have as many Halloween door hangers as you do Christmas. You do have to put some investment into your shop before you get sales rolling.
For November I've had one sale so far. October was a pretty good month but November is a bit slow right now. I guess I need to improve SEO and some pictures of several items.
Our sales are above last November for the same time frame. A lot of the sales have been for birthday gifts or personal use, not Christmas gifts. Our Christmas rush peaks from late November through early December.
I'm starting to see an upswing in views, but not sales quite yet. I'm currently working to restock my shop so the lack of inventory could have something to do with that, too.
I feel the pain! I've had a HUGE drop in sales this year. I've tried everything and so far, sadly, it's very slow. :( I worked on adding new items, changing pictures, switching tags...etc. I'm trying to figure out how Wanelo and other social media work but I'm still a bit confused. Any word of advice will be greatly appreciated :)
Our month is good so far. 26 sales and we just passed last year's November $ sales. Good month for vintage! Hope everybody else starts to see he increase we have had. Happy holiday sales to all!
We have been open for about two weeks and have had one sale. We have good views (I think) ...hopefully we get another sale soon! I have been trying to revise the titles and keyword tags... any critiques would be appreciated. Good luck to all!
My other shop Kiteepee is going along steadily but this one is not really doing much. So I have started to relist and make new items for it to see if I can renew interest in it.
Henrike, you should read a basic explanation of how Etsy's relevancy search works and apply the information to your titles and esp. tags. It will make a significant difference.
I`ve had none this month, last month I had a few within a few days which is unusual for me then nothing. I`m having to let it tick over for now as I had an accident a few days ago and can`t work. I`m hoping to catch up as soon as I can
