I have 7 sales so far.
Not bad actually but still far below my target. I found some jewelry sellers have 7 sales a day. Ok... don't look at others' record next time.
About the same from last month on etsy....stronger then ever on FB sales.
Look yall need to realize...your sales have very little to do with Etsy, and other peoples shops. Etsy isnt advertising for you....you need to yourself.
I havnt been here looonnng but long enough, to realize sales are always down from last month for someone. every single month...several times a month there is one of these threads. And while...there is comfort in seeing your not the only one....the reality sales are based on you alone.
International shipping has made a difference in views. I also got two international orders this month. I was like you, initially. Every one of my listings said, "international shipping is available, contact for a quote prior to purchase," but this never gave me any international views or sales.... because I learned an important thing....
If you don't have "Everywhere Else" listed in your shipping profile, you don't show up in international searches.
SO - I've switched most of my shop over and am working on the rest of the listings. If you do it, don't forget to alter your shop policies accordingly. I was nervous at first, but after playing around on the USPS website, I realized that it's not too bad.
It was a little slow. I was surprised, given the season. But I sold two veils this week and booked one custom order. Brides are on the hunt. I actually had someone say to me recently, brides are most likely tackling their most expensive items first (venue, photography, etc.). Very logical. All the veils I sold this week are for brides whose weddings are in June, so they are getting down to nitty gritty details.
I just opened my shop in March so i don't have a lot to compare April to but even with a really slow spell mid-month I've managed over 1800 views and 28 sales as of this morning. Hoping May goes just as well!
Mine has been much better this month than it was in March. I've managed to add a few more new items to my shop and have spent a considerable amount of time working in teams to promote it.
March sales = £36.50 April sales = £116.48
Quite a jump so I must be doing something right! Onwards and upwards!
Way better than March! I almost tripled my revenue this month and met all my sales/views/favorites/revenue goals and even surpassed them by far. I'm really happy! I also got two custom orders for weddings so that helped a lot!
No sales on Etsy in April. But I have a great custom order outside of Etsy that has been keeping me so busy I practically have forgotten about my shop here! So in a way it's been good.
I was excited about April, being that this year so far I about doubled my sales each month... that is until April. It's about 1/2 of what I did last year. I am not really sure why, wondering if it is because I have not changed my available payment types, or linked a bank account... (still going with pay pal).
Mine have actually been far better than they normally are. I, like you, have made 7 sales this month. Which is a pretty big thing for me since in the past two months, I only made 1 sale total.
I think this has been my best month yet. it's my 10th full month selling on Etsy. I had 16 orders with 24 items sold and I think I about equaled my best revenue month. I have a feeling that April is probably a pretty big month for jewelry with Mother's day coming.
I have only had 1 sale this month, been promoting like crazy and started a new line of doll clothes that I thought would of been selling like crazy but not a bite, thought Dora the Explorer is a great doll for little ones but not even a bite.
April was awesome. i fell shy of doubling my orders to 20 for the month but only because i have custom orders that I am waiting for their articles of clothing to arrive before I post the listing. ( for keepsake teddy bears) I sold a painting for $500 which made me jump up and down. ( my second painting sale.) All in all I think it was a great month. It is making me very optimistic for this endevour!
