Has anyone tried the Wholesale side of etsy?

To belong to Etsy Wholesale cost $100 to join.
Was wondering if anyone has had much luck with this new program.

I applied because I sell at a local collective shop but they said I didn't qualify. I search for the word "wholesale" instead. I don't understand the reason for the $100 charge

I believe the fee weeds out those who are not truly invested in growing the wholesale side of their business. I average about 1 order a month through Etsy Wholesale.
