Etsy Giveaways

I am interested in possibly doing a giveaway on EtsyGiveaways, but the application form requires you to link to another blog where the giveaway is listed. Anybody know of anyone with a blog who wants to host a giveaway for some handmade jewelry? Has anyone had success with traffic or sales as a result of a giveaway?

I just started my first giveaway yesterday at http://HoneysQuilling.com There are a few entries so far, I'm sure I'll get more! I don't mind hosting other people's giveaways as well, but not until this one is over.

I just did a giveaway on Kanelstrand blog and let me tell you that it was great. 266 entries, 70+ new hearts and 30+ more facebook fans. Sonya writes wonderfully and has a lot of followers. I'm glad I did it.

Even if I did not get any sales from it (it's hard to know unless they tell me where they saw the shop), it was great exposure and I hope it will lead to sales down the road.

I've had good experiences with giveaways. It drives up views, gets more shop hearts and Facebook Fans. And as a rule, I get enough sales to offset my giveaway.

I use my blog to post details because Facebook has some rules regarding giveaways.

So what is the best place to host a giveaway? On another's blog in conjunction with your own or a specialty place like Etsy Giveaways? Thoughts on this?
