I re-did some photos - re-shot some photos outdoors, using natural light rather than a lightbox and positioned the items differently so that the pattern could be seen better.
I'm on spring break, this means I get some time to do some pre planning and catch up on orders. I've narrowed some of my models down, but it's so hard to pick. I just got some new model pictures in and I'm so happy with them, I can't wait to get them on the site.
Staying busy, thanks to the routine promotion for both Etsy & my local shop! So fun to see all the little details working together.
Trying hard to get enough products set aside for a client/photographer who is going to have a photo shoot with a batch of babies! Want to make this worth everyones time, but wow, hard to get the pieces done. Sold one again this weekend! Good problem to have I guess!

New model photos have come in. I now have to figure out a way to buy all of my headband supplies in bulk. I found an etsy store that sells my grosgrain ribbon bows. Just ordered 50 of them. It's a lot, but I can use them. I'm right now looking through their store to see if they sell less than 50 of them. I'm still not sure how to get rid of all of my RTS items. I still have about 100+ items that aren't even listed or taken pictures of. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I would do a craft show, but last one I did I ended up losing $50 or so. I've tried selling my RTS items through Facebook, ebay, a yardsellers online.
today I listed a new item and started experimenting with listing things in different, but appropriate categories, I've also got a new follower on instagram :)
Finished the last remaining knit to order item & will ship it today! Now, to get some items done & in inventory. Disappointed to find out our local Etsy meet up has folded. Such a great place for ideas, I think I'll put some feelers out on Craigs list to see if there are some people who would like to get together to grow our shops.
Off to knit group this AM, at least for a little while. Zipping home to teach a sewing class, then a client for a prom dress fitting.

Feeling almost caught up . . . yet REALLY behind ! Sales on Etsy screeched to a halt. Getting set up for designated time spent on the supply section and getting back into 'Promote mode'.
The count down for Ready to Ship Floppies has begun - which has me confused and Tired - since I am still shipping them out! 17 Done, 6 on the needles, 133 to Go ! (and @Sue - 6 sewn & tasseled!) Have my yearly top sellers list done - and trying to knock out a bunch of black brims early during these long daylight days so the dark days of winter are easier on the eyes!
Day job hours are back to normal - so hoping to jump start the shop once again . . .
Happy weekend - and into the chair with needles & a pile of yarn I go !
